Skate Socks

Has anyone used socks made specifically for skates??

we have them from CCM, Bauer and Under Armour

but we would like to know how they have been performing for people.

for me its either under armour socks or i skate barefoot.. i havent had to throw away a pair yet and theyre very comfortable and thin.

i second the oxy socks. i stole my friends since he doesn't wear them, and i love them. don't think i'd pay the price for them though

i have hte bauers, will never to bavk to normal socks again, they stink up pretty fast thoguh

I have these things called powersox from modells, they were cheap, like 7 bucks for two pairs. arch support, coolmax, and I've been using them for about 8 months with no problems.

try to get some of those foot wamers. I saw'em yesterday, I think they were $5. You break'em or something along those lines and they stay warm for 6 hours. If you cannot find it at a Walmart type store try a camping store.

They are NOT just sox. For an old guy like me to play 1 hr of hockey and my legs not be tired, sweeeeeeet!

Not only do I wear them 4 times a week at hockey, but also at the store. I'm on my feet all day. I love them. All other soxs are just soxs compared to Oxy's.

Oxysox's and Bauer's = Unreal!

I prefer the Oxy's over the Bauers because of the durability of them. I've beeen through a few pairs of the Bauer socks because they have rippped.

The oxysock is hands down the best hockey sock ever invented. I have used wigwam, bauer and the new easton sock and nothing gives me the performance or comfort as the oxysock. The price is alittle high for a pair of socks but well worth it once you benifit from there performance.

I use the Under Armour Socks and I love them. I also sometimes use these wierd kinds from a local sports store that just say "Hockey Socks" on them. They are just a little bit thicker than the Under Armour Socks.

Wait for the Easton skate sock. it's awesome. Pretty similar to Underarmour, but is made for a hockey skate.
