Naslunds Stick---whats underneath?

Recommended Posts

do you mean the stick he's using right now? I think it's red instead of orange actually.

Anyway

I think it's actually the blue Quest 1 shaft with the Apollo graphics painted over it or it's his own custom Nike Apollo shaft Nike made for him with a Nike Quest 1 blade (PT3)

the quest 1 shaft i'm talking about

just a guess cause he was using it before the Apollo and Sherwood before the Quest 1.

Well...dont I feel stupid then...

Whats the point to getting them cosmetically redone?

To make people think he's using the latest, greatest skate.

Some of the guys for U of M use the same kind of Apollo wood stick. I asked my rep about them and he said the Naslunds are wood, but they feel amazing, nothing like regular wood. Still trying to get my hands on a few...

I held a Nike Zero G woody at A Nike Factory Outlet, Wow that's the best balanced and feeling woody I've ever held. If it's anything like that I can see why Naslund is sticking with Wood.

It's a Nike prostock wood stick. Same stick Lemieux was using.

I didn't think that Naslund used a log like Mario does. Very few people use a stick that heavy.

The ones that I saw at the Team Sale last summer, were all wood and listed with the Nike stifness rating of 220. They were $50.00 Cdn. The curve was a slight heel curve.

I own a Zero G and its beautiful. Its a little on the stiff side, but I'm a big guy so its not that big a deal. Its feather light, but the feel is incredible, almost no vibration at all compared to OPS.
