Ovechkin's curve

Was watching Transworld Sport this morning on UK tv and there was a feature profile on Ovechkin.

He was using a vector with all stickers removed, except for those at the top of the shaft. If I had to descrobe his curve the best comparison i can think of is a RH version of the Forsberg pro pattern. Very nice small curve, rounded toe and a fairly low profile blade, possibly a degree or two less loft. Not sure bout the lie.

Thought it was worth posting due to his rising profile, also on the highlights it not very easy to see his sticks.

... also on his eagle gloves he was using the velcro wrist cuff, most people i know normally take those off.

Saw a little bit of an intro for him a year or two ago when he was playing Canada in theWorld junior finals. It was a Grip synergy with a Sakic curve at that point, which is supposed to be very close to a Forsberg pro.

It was probably 4 months ago, they did a series of articles about the next great players from each sport. They also did one on Maria Sharapova. Someday she will put Kournikova to shame.
