JOFA is BACK!!! Any idea on release dates?

I'm seeing pics all over Social Media of the resurrection of the JOFA branded protective gear. From what I have seen it only model of the following, shoulders, elbows, shins, gloves and the old 580 cage. It doesn't look like anything special and in a way very nostalgic. I can see that it is using the D3O foam, The shoulders look like an old pair of the Vector shoulder pads just rebranded as I'm sure the cage will be the same. 

I guess I'm just happy to see this name back in the game. Now I can only hope that they bring back the wrist guards and jocks that are still used and sought after today.

Everything I saw looks like SMU Jofa branded Tacks stuff, kind of a bummer.  If they'd just re-release the old stuff without the fancy new tech it would be amazing... give me some 9144 Pro or 7K elbow pads and some 7K shins and I'd be psyched.

Exactly what I saw too. Nothing special you can’t simply get already with Tacks. Don’t get the hype other than it being white which will look yellow after a few games

As others have touched on already, my takeaway is this is nothing new. Jofa never really went away either. The name was retired, but its influence is everywhere. Almost everything on the market today is a direct descendent of Jofa or a clear rip off of it. The weird stuff Bauer has is different, and Sher-Wood has their own things or rip offs of Warrior's retired patterns. Jofa is still king. Always has been.

Feels like they are missing out on printing-bags-of-money type product by not selling a 235 Helmet. But, to avoid lawsuits would it  probably have to come with a bunch of giant warnings that say “not intended for use as a protective helmet. Display purposes only.” or something like that. Still, give the kids* what they want.

Yeah, The shins even have the CCM logo molded into the pad. SMH...

Man some old 6070/ 7k shins and some 8066 elbow pads would be insane!
