rene bourque just shot 99.8 MPH at the AHL skills-challenge with this stick :o his equipment got lost apparently and the CCM rep handed him this stick just before the competition.

That was insane. I cant even shoot 100mph, let alone a stick someone just hands to me.

I don't think he was. When they interviewed him after the shot he said he may be changing to the V130 if he was going to shoot like that with it.

Looks like he normally uses a 110.

Side note: CCM already has it on their website about what the top guys last night were using.

Two teams did are not part of the agreement with THC.

I know that Lowell is one of the teams that isn't part of the agreement. Even still, a good amount of their players are using THC sticks.

The teams that signed the deal must use THC sticks, gloves and helmets.

Teams are allowed a couple of exemptions. Plus, once the lockout ends, the deal will not impact players designated for assignment by the NHL club.
