twistoffate19 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 I just have two quick questions. #1- For anyone that has a Hex-1 or Hex-1 Grip, how's the durability so far?#2- Does Mission still have a "Drury" type curve? I know they had the Carter. But I was told they don't have it anymore.thanks
EBondo 242 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 correct me if im wrong, but it seems that the Riberio curve is closest
ambro 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 Pretty sure they still have Carter, but they aren't producing it in the Hex-1.
Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 It's there, just not on the Hex-1 or L-2. It looks like I may give the Rebeiro a shot.
UMWhockey 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2005 One of the guys that plays in the adult leagu at our rink met the guy who paints sticks for mission or something like that. He sent him a stick and it was a hex-2. It was a hex shaft and a hex blade. It was gold. Does anyone know anything about this.... it looked nice. I don't have anything from mission on it. twistoffate19 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 (Not to sound rude) But no one has answered my question as to, is there going to be a Drury type curve for the Hex-1/Hex-1 Grip?Someone mentioned Ribeiro (sp?) and on greatskate.com the Ribeiro says "slightly open toe lie 5." Slightly open toe doesn't sound like a Drury to me. If they have the McCauley curve, I can work with that since I use Lidstrom and Drury...but Drury is preferred.thanks again
Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted March 22, 2005 Actually, they have. No. The Carter, Drury clone, is not offered. The closest is probably the Ribeiro or the Elias, both are fairly different. The Ribeiro is not really similar to another pattern. If you have your heart set on a Drury, look in another direction, if you don't look for something thats similar, which they have provided. You asked "Does Mission still have a "Drury" type curve?" and it was answered. Yes, but not on the Hex-1.
