weirdest curve?

Recommended Posts

we got a bunch of pro leclair sher-wood woodies.

we took strips of white tape and covered the "Leclair" stamp and wrote "Mickelson" on all of them haha

I dont get it.

It is because the curve is a wedge. Mickelson is a golfer. Golfers use wedges. :)

That was a long way to go for a joke. :D

Ryan Smyth = weirdest curve

you can see it from the angle the tv gives you

What's weird about it? It's Gretzky's and just small, though it is a pretty fat blade.

lol, my lhs has some old pro stock i think sticks that no one has bought forever that have retarded curves on them. One of them is a Christian Jagr pattern thats alot like the Prospal but the toe is also open. They also have two synergy Mckay's that the blade is PERFECTLY straight (no curve or openess whatsoever) for as long as a retail Iginla (i matched them side by side lol) and then at the end has kind of like a Schaefer-esque thing but its also curved and not just open. i took some pics but cant post them. wierdest curve ive ever seen though

Here's an interesting one I just picked up. It's a Grant Marshall Response Lite. Blade profile exactly matches the Hull pro (a have a Hull pro and compared), but the curve is a more typical mid-heel wedge, not like the Hull funky toe. Whip flex. Actually works a lot better for me than the Hull pro. Here are pics (sorry for the top-down one, I didn't take these).

That looks an awful lot like my Karlis Skrastins Synergy grip, except mine's LH. The Skrastins is wider at the heel, but it's got the rockered tose, and it's a mid-heel wedge. It feels quite a bit stiffer, however, somewhere around 90-95. It's surprisingly an easy curve to use, despite how odd it looked at first.

the blade height looks pretty short... ala hull as well(a somewhat shaved toe too, not nearly as drastic as the hull). The angle from the top doesn't look too much like the pro hull to me, but maybe it does in person.

If the curve is indeed the pro Hull I might have found another blade I want to try, dammit that list keeps growing! At least I'm good at adjusting to curves.

here's a pic of prospals actual stick and it's curve. Looks a bit different than the original picture. It's of course possible that he changed it to have some loft but this is what he is currently using. 200603111136233923.jpg

that's what elias's pro HEX-1 looks like

As I mention in my post, I have a pro Hull blade, and the profile of the Marshall (shaved toe and all) exactly match the Hull (although I'm sure Hull had many variants himself). The curve is totally different though. The Marshall is more of a mid-heel wedge and the Hull is of course a pure toe curve.
