weirdest curve?

Recommended Posts

it's polarfibre. actual saprykin pro stocks (not the re-made ones for hockeymonkey etc.) have polarfibre. I'm sure there are others out there too.

Dany Markov used polar-fibre before he switch to NBH. I almost bought a game used for $50 with almost no wear to resell the Dolomite painted shaft and his odd short square blade... I hesitated since I'm a righty and by the time I made it back to the store it was gone.

I just picked up this game used Dmitry Afanasenkov Dolomite. 315 flex.

Wicked toe curve:

Hollowed pattern on back of blade (weird - Warrior's new technology I guess):

Flash - Did you pick that up on NHL Auctions? I was watching that one, and wanted to get in on it, but it got a little higher than I was willing to go.

I like that blade pattern.

Yes, was from that auction. I have a bit of a bidding advantage in that I live in Toronto and can pick up from their office and thus save the shipping charge...

Nice! Well, you won a pretty nice stick there. If for whatever reason you don't like the pattern when you use it, hit me up, and I'll certainly be willing to buy it. I didn't realize when I was looking at it, that it had that 'cavity back' on the blade.

I've been trying to get my hands on an Affy pro stock for a while. My connections haven't responded. :(

I haven't really used this stick yet (just a couple of shots in warmups) so can't tell if I like it enough to keep it. I love the weight and flex, and the lie and blade profile are nice as well. Jury's still out on the nasty toe curve though - hopefully I can keep it below the crossbar.

Other pics of the stick:

They call it SPYNE technology.

Some JRs call it Sandwichmaker

Well I'm glad you told me, I'd much rather call it that! :D

Sorry to bring up a old topic but i just couldn't beleive this curve and i love kovalchuks

Fugly

yes, the lehoux. That is a weird feeling blade right at the curve. That exact stick was in my posession for about a day due to a mixup by fed-ex, but thats a story for another day. But it really is an awesome wicked curve.

John LeClair's ranks right up there, works well for getting the puck up from right in front of the net though. *Edited for photo.

Hlavac's is like a milder(and left handed) Ovechkin pro. It's more tame in person, looking down the shaft. I'll try to get a picture. Eventually.
