i got a standard novius shaft, and its been a pretty solid piece of graphite. it's lasted me the whole season, with nothing but paint chipped all over it.

I've had my Novius now for 6 months and its an awesome shaft. I want to get a new one soon so I have 2 (one as a back up). The Boron spine works too, such a fantastic invention.

Innovative sticks 4 ever mayte!

I've been using novius shafts for about the last year and a half and I love it. I've used other shafts and ops's intermitently, but I always end up going back to the tapered novius. Its got great kick, and now that I've got a great tapered wood blade, I don't anticipate switching to anything else anytime soon. Regarding someones comment about inno blades, they aren't overrated at all. Assuming you like the pattern, there isn't a better built, better feeling comp blade out there.

isn't the novius shaft heavy? or can you feel a difference?

i find my standard novius to be pretty light actually. i have a hard time trying to find light enough wooden blades for it

i too will rave about the novius. i have the tapered, and even the standard (i had the model from two years ago) was fantastic. stealth might be lighter, but you'll find the novius just feels better. can't explain it.

They sell all over Toronto, Just Hockey, National, Majer Hockey, just about any large hockey dealer. But i've heard its hard to find in BC and Quebec. I have really liked my tapered novius, but I am curious as to how the 1100 preforms, there was a poll a while back and 1100 was rated best inno stick. I guess if i can get it for next season, I will have the complete inno line

i had a standard 1100 at the beginning of the season, but it only lasted less than a month before shattering upon being struck by a puck on slapshot. i loved it while it lasted, and wish they woulda sent me another as a replacement instead of the novius, but no complaint on the novius either

I had 2 1100's dual kickpoints delievered thursday. I got a 260 mogilny and it worked well for my strong wrister. I tried it on firday at sticktime. After switching from a si-core it felt much better. Granted, it wasn't an amazing difference, I have to say my stick helped me pick up my 3 goals after not having skated for 2 weeks.

I gotta say though, it doesn't top my experience last summer using a OPC for the first time (vapor XX). So the first drill you get a pass at center ice and go in alone. I fire a slapper from the top of the circles, and it's a cannon right into the goalie's face. He had to sit out the next 5 mins, and I felt kinda bad, but it was pretty cool being able to shoot that fast. (for the record, it wasn't my goalie, just the team I practice with for the summer.)

imho, 1100's good, novius is better. just feels a little crisper. it may be because the 1100's a tad heavier; some days i feel i like it better b/c it's beefier. they're both fantastic sticks, i the dual kickpoint 1100 in mogilny and a novius tapered w a mogilny blade, and i like them both. the 1100 does tend to "shed" a la vapor xx in the grip category -- mine is starting to peel a little like it's sunburned. very small amount tho.

for my money, epuck's got a good price on novius and the tapered blades.

I'm loving my 1100s with inno blades. The shaft is pretty good but it is a little heavier than comparible Easton's etc. The blades are amazing though, I used my most recent one all of a AA Ice hockey season plus some roller mixed in about every weekend. It finally broke the other day after my stick got jammed on the boards but while it lasted forever. Yesterday in my first skate after I broke it though I used a friend's z-bubble with z-carbon(which I used to use before my innos) and it was just terrible. Even after about an hour of open hockey with it I still could'nt get used to it. Inno's just feel so much better.

I haven't used the shafts or blades yet, but I love my 1100 and I would like to tryout a new or lightly used shaft if anyone was interested in selling theirs (300 tapered or regular).
