Vapor XV when they first came out. I ended up having to pitch em about 9 months later (durability) but damn those fit me like a glove and worked extremely well for me. I got a lot of good memories on those ones.

I personally come from a asian family so playing hockey just wasn't something my parents would allow me to do... so the day i stepped onto the ice with full hockey gear on after years of begging my parents was and still is the happiest day of my life. i still remember waddling to the center line before anyone else had got on and just laid there flat on my back looking up with the biggest grin you will ever see.. :D

Funny I come from an asian family too and hockey is like religion in my house, everyone but my mom plays, even my sister is in a girls league.

i love my 8090's, perfect in every way except one cracked blade.

i'm asian too, and even though my mom didn't go out and find a league for me to play in (i had to do it in grade 6 :P ), she pretty much supported me all the way. lots of good memories of her carrying my bag to the rink and back before we got the car.

My Graf 705s from '99, the ones with the white instead of the silver. I had them for four years. Put Tuuks on them, and that made them even better. I have the newer generation of 705s now with the silver and they just aren't the same.

I always have and always will keep going back to the CCM Tacks lineup unless something drastic happens. This is coming from a roller guy who just uses the boot. The best I used were a pair of 752s from around 1996. They lasted me a good 5 years playing 5-6 nights a week. Then I "upgraded" to 1152s in 2001. They were OK but something was just different. I just got a pair of 03' 652s and they're about as close as possible to the fit of my old 752s but just not quite there. :lol:

I'll second that. So amazingly comfy and no bake, also I love the +1 pitch setting. Just an amazing skate and it hasn't shown any signs of breaking down over seven months of 2-3x a week play.

My Vapor XX's, those fit me perfectly, only problem was that they broke down so fast. But then again, it is hard to find a skate that will last me 9 ice times a week for 8 months.

I always thought the old 652 tacks with Tuuks were cool looking. Never worn them though. The pair in the pic were worn by Ulf Samuelsson and are part of my collection of game used gear.

Favorite pair that I've used would be my current pair, Mission S400's. My never ending quest for the perfect fit is over. B)
