Parents like that are the worst part of youth sports. Obviously passing to the other kids will keep his son from making the NHL.

I'm new to the forum and joined simply to ask follow-up questions re the Sprung chassis. I note there's already a new thread for this but it's locked, which brings up even more questions. Are any of you still using Sprungs? Do they have longevity? In the other thread, there seems uncertainty re whether the company is still doing business. Is there still faith in this product? I sure don't want to shell out the money and be on a waiting list for either shipment or support communication. Having read almost the entire original Sprung thread, I saw a lot of enthusiasm and an evolving personality (to the actual thread as posters and originator interacted, etc). I guess I'd like current feedback on what people think of this chassis before I take the chance. I can't try them out, there is no return policy other than replacement, so others' experience would be valuable. From what I can see, the Sprung website hasn't been updated for a long time, other than to show new units in the Store portion. Any thoughts/advice you can give, I'd appreciate. Michael

Reviewed the tapes last night, OMG did we laugh our asses off. Your buddy went in the booth first, then you went in and we see you disappear and a stick and legs in the air. Next time, read the signs we have posted - only one person in the booth, mmkay?

Ever have one of those days, that turns into one of those weeks, that turns into one of those months? I'm hoping my luck changes soon, I can't take much more of this.

Not too bad actually. The month of December was the best I have felt in a long time. I had a liver biopsy in December of 2012 and another one a couple weeks ago. Last year the biopsy showed very little in terms of anything wrong with the cells of the liver. This latest one showed significant scarring. That is there biggest concern on how fast the disease seems to progressing this time. I plan on getting back on the ice soon and trying to get myself in the best shape that I can be. That seemed to help last time. I barely lasted long enough last time to get a transplant. The told my wife to be prepared because I could have died at any time. They thing I can get a liver before I get that sick this time. Thanks for any and all support. It really helps.

Insurance finally got back to me about the car issue I vented about. The adjuster apologized for taking so long to get back to me and told me that: - They're writing me a cheque instead of repairing the car and the $1000 deductible will be deducted from that cheque. I did manage to get the amount bumped up a little when I mentioned recently purchasing a new battery and two new tires. - They don't consider me at fault for the accident, my rates will not go up and I won't have to use my accident forgiveness option for this claim. - The subrogation department is going to go after the city for the claim and if they're successful I will get my $1000 deductible back (I was going to bring up subrogation, but the adjuster mentioned it first). - I can take the two winter tires off the car and replace them with my all season tires if I'd like. As long as there are 4 tires on the car that's fine. - I don't have rental coverage, but thankfully my in-laws have loaned me their second car. If I do rent a car at any time before I get a new car I can send them the receipts and they can try to get that money back from the city as well. Now I'll likely be out of pocket a bit by the time I find another good used car (I'm likely going to try to find another 2004-2008 Mazda 6 hatchback with a V6 so I can use the winter tires, filters, and oil I already have, but will consider other options), but at least my rates won't go up. So it is still a hassle, but not as bad as I originally thought.
