I would, but I dont have those anymore. However, I have a pair of FT2 that I am doing for a friend this weekend so I will document the process.

Hills nailed my experience with the super round also. I have smaller hands and have experimented with intermediate sticks for awhile. The 70 flex is great for me, but I do not like the shaft shape. It feels squirrely in the hand and I tend to overgrip because of it. it is the primary reason I am considering going for a full custom order and change to the round square shaft, but keep most of the rest of it the same.

I’ve had the same problem, a few other buddies of mine also experiences this. It does wear off, eventually, but it’s annoying until it does. I tried to expedite the process by using clear packing tape to trying to pull off any loose screen print. They seem to grip pretty good once you get past the “break-in” phase. I had been using the Trickster wheels before this but got these when they had a sale on the website. I’ll honestly probably go back to the Tricksters when it’s time for new wheels. I feel like these bog down a bit more for whatever reason, it could be any number of variables though.

Bumping this up - I got a set of the new rink rat identity wheels, and am having an issue (and wondering if others are, too.) The graphic on the outside of the wheels is screen printed (or whatever method it is) on to the wheel, and goes pretty close to the edge of the wheel. I found myself sliding and falling during cross overs and cross under in my last game using them, as the angle of the contact patch when doing this puts more contact on the flatter part of the wheel. Anyone else having this issue? I contacted RR and they said the screen print would eventually come off, but I'm not happy that I'm going to have to be conscious of my skating technique now.

in the end i did it, after roughly 10 practices i felt way better ice feel, now my feet are back with me again -) it is strange, but i cannot adapt to shift holder because too aggressive angle/something else during skate, i felt like my skates are trying to dig to the ice, and my crossovers were horrible right now all the negative things are gone, i have a really nice boot with no issues with holder and blade
