This is the first I've ever heard of this. I'm going down 1.5 sizes from shoe size to skate size, so when I lace up my skates, nothing is sliding, whether I'm in goalie skates or player skates.

Yup, totally agree. It's not "brainwashing". It's sticking with a brand that worked for you in the past. Lets face it, as good as CCM is right now, they were equally as bad not to long ago and they were pretty bad for a good stretch of time.

How do you figure? I can't see how this affects Bauer at all; they weren't being compensated by STEP. And if they had a patent, and the patent is granted, they are well within their rights to enforce said patent. CCM has had a quick-release holder for less than a year. Which means the majority of CCM skates in store inventory as well as the vast majority of CCM skates on end-users' feet don't have a quick-release holder on them. And "taking over" usually means you've surpassed something. Bauer is still the top selling skate brand by a wide margin. You went ahead and started a thread about this. Leave this thread to discuss STEP products.

Hi man. I just got my own custom sticks from Warrior, they have T8D2X code in them. Stick specs I sent to Warrior were: Alpha DX shaft construction (1400D carbon) 65 flex 60" length Smooth grip (no bumps, ridges or tactiles) X-Stiff blade W28 curve I also asked to get the sticks dressed as the new Alpha DX SL (blacked out DX graphics) and also without the round Warrior logo in the blade. My best guess for the code is that T8 means its Sabre taper (alpha) and X means stiffer blade. Idk what the D and 2 stand for. The XStiff blade definitely feels different to regular Alpha blade and it added about 7 grams of weight. Pics of these sticks if you want to see: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4nhn0xspk8xz6w1/Photo 17.10.2019%2C 18.10.15.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/kqv2j7gn2xmmpxf/Photo 17.10.2019%2C 18.16.22.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/3lygq4xyst6kxk4/Photo 17.10.2019%2C 18.16.46.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/jyhcj47e10tnl3z/Photo 17.10.2019%2C 18.20.13.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/39v903yu7db0rhv/Photo 17.10.2019%2C 18.17.57.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/t7kiso59dli70nl/Photo 17.10.2019%2C 18.18.23.jpg?dl=0
