A long time coming but hope to finally get back to inline hockey in the near future...

So... that isn't actually how those knee pads connect to the garter or the pant. The pant picture you showed is the removeable padding that opens up the leg more. The grey nylon loop is actually where the knee pad would attach to. When you wear the garter you don't use the piece that says "Vapor" on the knee pad picture. That is the strap that will go into the loop in the pants.

The margin for custom is worse than stock, but it's a sale with 0 over head (although you do need a high volume to even be able to do customs, but all of your dollars don't need to be in skates). Same with custom goalie; great for retailer but downside is you need to have a big stock in order to get volume in custom. Ideally for the retailer they do not stock any skate above $600, and all high level skates are custom-only. The manufacture probably wouldn't like that though with a massive increase in labor costs.

Joined the blade gang. Buying a True shaft and ABS blade for some fun at the ball hockey rink by my house.
