Looks good no matter what. Its the small things (in your case larger projects) that you do around the house that make it your HOME. I've been living in a rental property (actually the 4th one) in the past 6 years. Being posted overseas you dont really buy your own place. Ive been reluctant to even hang pictures and paintings up because we move every year or two. The one thing about moving around though, is that you find out what works and what doesnt. We know that with just the three of us, we cannot afford to have a big house... no $$$ wise, but the effort to keep it clean, especially with a 7 year old who has filthy friends. A small townhouse, 3 bedrooms, a small study and a garage to store my gear is perfect. A small area to either put a basketball hoop or shoot some pucks would be perfect.

Being a Mission guy for over a decade, and then started messing around after Justin left. Now that he's back, I'm pretty sure my next purchase will be with Alkali... Any chance you guys will NOT be having export restrictions?

Been really hyped up about Nationals, which is basically a State Wars setup with all the different states being represented. Got selected to play in early June, and from what I know we had a really strong squad. State coordinator sends me a message yesterday that we now only have 4 players and no goalie for my age group.

Depends where you are my friend... only a few of them here.

BJB, which part of Oz? I should have asked you to bring some gear for me!

Family came over from hometown to visit, total of 2 Aunts, an Uncle and cousin. Took them to a theme park yesterday along with wife and son. Most of the time I cant do the bigger rides as my son is too young, and wife is too scared. Spent the day just doing the rides etc. Cousin and I got to do the Batman ride, just catapults you about 8 or 9 storeys up in 1-2 secs. Good thing we didnt eat lunch yet. Then we did the Lethal Weapon... basically legs dangling down, full 360 loops and lots of cockscrew turns... and then it was to the moto-show. NOrmally they have a bunch of guys doing stunt driving, but because it was the school holidays they had a full range of stuff, from motorcross guys doing 360 flips and superman seatgrabs, to monster trucks just going over heaps of stuff... To top of the good day, we finally got back at about 7pm... and then everyone went into cooking mode. One aunt was cutting food, uncle on one stove, cousin working the other stove, one aunt washing up, while I was outside on the BBQ grill. Within 30min it was a full on dinner already served at the table. Great stuff when you have an uncle who used to be in the Navy as the ship's chef, so it was basically everything we could find in the fridge into the pot for dinner. Never had pineapple-pumpkin-roastlamb-rice before, but man it was good.

played the semi final game on Tuesday night. I dedided to take the faceoffs for the team this game, and although lost the first drop, I won a total of 7 out of 9. Switched it up a few times... backhand to point, forehand to net and even had a shot on goal right from the faceoff... it did crack my beloved X60 though, but its still pretty solid (hope it lasts). We won the game comfortably 5-0, and we played a really decent team game. Lots of passing from all players.

Why not try fixitbymail or go with peaches? both are reknown for quality...

Played a drop in last night, and was the oldest guy there. Although I couldnt keep up with 15 and 21 year olds, I was able to still deke past some of them. It was the first time on my new Mission T8 with sprungs (self mounted) and shit they felt great... didnt even get them baked and they felt good. Must be something to do with the oh-so-thick tongue. After almost a year of just working with the most difficult dealer we have in Asia Pacific, I'm finally getting some recognition. With my contacts at our manufacturing facility, we managed to sell close to 13 products when the customers were only looking for 2-3. Although I didnt exactly follow the process, selling 13 instead of 2-3 is a good thing. To top it off, my boss has agreed to have me visit the US with our rep and customer. Fingers crossed I can make it to Summerjam...

Lost our final game of the season tonight... 6-5 final score with me ALMOST tieing it in the last 2 sec. Got the puck with my back to the goal while skating from left to right and knowing the goalie will shuffle to my right. Tried to just throw it on net to the left side, only clipping his pad ever so slightly... and trickling away from the goal... Completed the hat-trick with a backhander that went top shelf. I've missed the same chances in the last three games, and this time before the game started I practiced a few backhanders which helped me get my form back...

Who knows... this could be Sprungster's opportunity to mass market the chassis on some really good boots. I'm tired of doing my own conversions...

Stay strong guys... you're in my prayers. Just found out that my ex boss has got 3 heart stents put in... as much as I hated the guy, I have to really feel sorry for him.

Funny how everyone just jumps in without actually seeing the stick in person. At the end of the day it does its job...

Agree with this wholeheartedly... been waiting for the day that Sprungs comes STOCK on a set of boots.

Applies to many cities in Asia... even in Singapore. And before others slag me for being racist, I'm asian myself. Send us a list of books. From what I know the books in Singapore are much cheaper (when I was in Uni the books were soft cover and $30 each, but same as US Uni). My cousin is in the Uni now, and might be able to get the books at a cheaper rate for you. Just trying to help... Own Vent: Dealer GM rips into me for selling 6 machines at 10% margin instead of 2 machines at 15% margin... go figure.

Went on short vacation, driving up about 600km with another family to just relax. We decided to head out to see the Great Barrier Reef, and let me tell you that it was shite getting there as the swells were really bad. I think about 95% of the passengers were laughing when they demonstrated how to use the barf bag, but almost everyone used it at least once (my son 6 times, me about 3 times). Eventually got there, and the trip was worth it. Got to snorkel with my 7 year old son, and he's never really swam in the ocean before, let alone water that was clear up to 25m deep. A day well spent... the drive back home was easier, with more stops along the way. Managed to stop by the Bundaberg Rum Factory, and bought a couple of bottles for the next few weeks.

Some of you know, I was laid up in hospital with a pretty bad leg infection about a month ago. Docs pumped me full of antibiotics, and virtually put me back on my feet again after a couple of weeks. Played my first game back tonight. 1st shift, 1st touch, 1st goal. Just a shot from the point, which I redirected between the goalie's pads. Same shift, got the puck on the left, and just let loose with a quick snapper that went in blocker side. That basically set the tone for the whole game. I had so many quick snap shots, one that I tried to go low but hit the post. Also had two semi-breakaways, both of them I deked to my forehand before pulling to the backhand. Both times the goalie bought it and was really out of position... only for the puck to roll off my blade at the last sec. 10 sec left in the game and I had another redirection between the goalie's pads that was stopped just on the line. My line is starting to click together. I have been paired up with this other guy for the last few games, and somehow we've managed to find each other with no look passes... one touch plays, tic tac toe passing... been starting to all gel together. 7 goals, 7 assist in the last 4 games. Thats coming from finally putting me up in front and not sticking me in defence like the last 3 years.

Heard my first game back will be against a team that beat us 5-1 the last time. If I remember correctly, one guy skated backwards into me (me almost stationary) and he glared at me like it was my fault. Told him, 'you skated into ME buddy, and if I wanted to hit you, you'd know it'
