Sounds like advantage Canada. I have yet to hear of hockey gear at TJ Maxx. Maybe I just don't get out enough.
-
I think you already did.
-
As an American, I take exception to what you imply about your fellow Americans.

Escrow is basically when a third party holds your money to make sure that you will pay something (to someone else). Based on the terms of the escrow agreement, this third party can make payouts of whatever's due. Chris's example is the situation where most folks encounter escrow. You make a house payment, typically PITI (Principal, Interest, Taxes, Insurance), and the amount that doesn't go toward the loan goes into an "escrow" account, with payouts for taxes and insurance when they come due. Escrow can also be used to hold documents along with funds, waiting for events or contingencies before passing along the docs and cash to complete a transaction.

Congratulations, Joe! I was glad to see from the second picture that it wasn't your nail polish.

I don't know if it's just me, but FBV seems to grab as much as I need for whatever I'm doing. It grabs more on tight turns, and less when I don't need as much bite.

It took me a bit to figure that out, never having heard "arm" used that way before.

Do people actually care about being chirped? I can't imagine letting something like that be a factor in my decisions.

The black Tuuks look great.

I remember reading your posts and updates with interest, and am glad to hear that things have been going well. Thanks for posting that.

I'm going to need a ruling here. Due to the extended discussion on that point, I thought flip12 intended sarcasm.

Well, it sounds like they're supposed to "fit like a glove". That's a feeling I've always wanted in a skate, but I've still got a lot of use left in my One95s.

Try the laces snug, rather than loose.

It would annoy me, too, to buy something to have for a specific time frame, be notified that it would happen, then get an email telling me one thing, and the web site telling me something else.

With an 8 hour round trip, I didn't expect that he went there, but he could have called.

I'm pretty sure that I'm not the dumbest guy in the room, so if I didn't get that, it probably wasn't "clear". What I did get was that everyone is surprised at the consistent runaround you've got. If you mentioned anything about contacting your retailer, if only just to see if it would help, I missed it.

VH Footwear/TRUE by Scott Van Horne
wrangler replied to dsjunior1388's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
I'm a bit confused why you proffer an extrapolation based on generalities to oppose vhfootwear's conclusions in his paper, which presumably contains rational analysis based on observed data. Do you think his expressed conclusions are so far off that you don't need to review his work to disagree with it? Or do I misunderstand, and you are accepting that the effect of the extra weight may be negligible? -
Forehead cut reminds me of turning abruptly and walking into the flaps on a Cessna wing. Sooner or later, it happens to all Cessna pilots.
-
Yeah, but you'll get a title, right?
-
I noticed the difference as soon as I stepped on the ice. I glided noticeably farther before I had to stride again.
-
Promote yourself another trip over here.

I asked because I have low arches (but not quite flat feet), and overpronate a bit. I use Superfeet (yellow) in my One95s, and the Makos have got me curious. How do you get along with Superfeet?
-
Do you have low arches?

There are two threads on this already. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index.php?/topic/56537-ps-mhp-520-vs-1053-vs-7000/ http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index.php?/topic/63164-reebok-pro-stock-pants/

What are the vents like? I haven't seen those.
