  5. Looks like Bauer is blacked out and there's a big V. Part of sponsorship branding or a new bauer glove?
  6. do you think bauer will ever make a similar skate?
  7. Brand new pair of mako 2 skates. Recent pick up. Love them
  8. I really wish there was a place I could try these on
  9. Has anyone used Graf PeakSpeed PK7900 Skates? What is the fit comparable to? Many shops don't carry graf skates so wonder how these are
  10. Was there a big advantage to the cxn holders? They aren’t made anymore. Would going to a tuuk or CCM holder be the same or would the pitch be different? What profile would replicate the pitch?
  11. How are custom Eagle Gloves these days? There was a guy named Jesse who worked at hockey shop that was awesome. Was just wondering if the quality is still great.
  12. Where did I say to use stock laces? I said you shouldn't use waxed laces. There's plenty of aftermarket high end non waxes laces. It's because with waxed laces the laces have less give in them. It puts more stress on the eyelet system. That's one of the reasons why they crack. I personally use howies laces
  13. I had this VH tongue on my VH and it was awesome. Just seem to hold really well compared to my true tongues. The VH Velcro had a lot of meat to it if that makes sense. I wish they still had these tongues. Did you do the Velcro change yourself or take them somewhere?
  14. Has anyone fixed or come up with a fix for the terrible Velcro tabs on the true skates? My VH skates, they were the original VH skates had a very strong Velcro arrangement on the skate and the tongue. The trues always pull out and are a pain to keep attached.
  15. I've always been told to never use waxed laces especially with the injected eyelets
  16. Try prostockhockey.com. I wear CCM 520echl pants which are now CCM hp35 pants and warrior covert pants. what sort of fit do you like? Do you want a roomy fit or something more tapered. I haven’t worn retail pants in years but I’d go with a nexus pro pants size large if you want them slightly on the bigger size.
  17. Hello, I'm looking for jock compression shorts with garter belt attached like these. I do not like Velcro and seems like all the jock shorts have the velcro now. Personally the garter belt works better
  18. I had a pair of CCM Supra pants in high school. I loved them. They were the Supra pants with the 2 belts and laces. Do you know what model they could be? Also does CCM still offer the Supra in a pro stock pant? The CCM logo on the side of the pant was plastic
  19. Ankle bones too big The problems with Forsberg’s right foot started to become chronic in the summer of 2001, after the Avs had won their second Stanley Cup. He had missed the final two rounds of the playoffs because of a ruptured spleen. He was born with ankle bones larger than the usual person — basically they were too wide to fit comfortably into a skate — and he developed inflamed fluid-filled bursa sacs over time from the grinding of the bones against the skate. He underwent surgery in the offseason to drain fluid in order to be ready for training camp in his native Sweden that fall, but after trying to skate during the first day of camp, he was in more pain than ever. He decided to take a leave of absence to have his foot treated. He returned to the Avs in January, but after being examined, team doctors found a problem with his left foot. He had surgery for that, and it appeared his season was over Damn, thats crazy
  20. What actually was peter forsberg's injury? Was it his ankle, foot or both? I listened to a podcast with mike richards and he talks about foppa wearing 100 pairs of skates a season. Was this always an issue for him or did it happen over time?
