I seem to remember that CCM helmets were narrower. Did they change this? I have a wider head so I was in a 5500 for the longest time. Now I use a RE-AKT 100 and it fits fine.

How long ago did you have yours done? Because numan said that Bauer stopped doing full customs for non-pros around June of this year.

Tried numan, tried DK (which is where I ended up getting these CCMs from). Steph said couldn't do it for me even though she had access to the full customs because I'm not a player on her roster so Bauer wouldn't have taken the order. When I go through these CCMs if Bauer is being less stingy with their customs then I'll try them again. Would really love to have a 1N/G3 flex profile with a 1X blade (or whatever will be the stiffest blade they offer at that time). Plus the curve that I use is in Bauer's database already.

I've asked around the main guys and they all said they would only be able to do "stock" curves aka no pro-moulds (but more options than on mybauer), and no mixing and matching blade stiffnessed with flex profiles.

Through a shop in CT. Some brands are more receptive to custom orders from everyday consumers than others. I would have liked to get Bauer customs but the options that are available to non-pros are terrible, so I went with CCM since I'm familiar with their sticks, too (used a SicKick for like 3 years).

The definitely holds an edge better than regular steel, so throughout the course of a game I get the same skating glide and bite during warmup as I do during the final seconds of the 3rd period. They also just feel stiffer when I'm trying to make sharp turns. Yes, the coating is mirror finish.

If carbon-coated steel isn't supposed to be stoned, how do you get rid of the lip that builds when you initially crossgrind the steel?

So I don't know if it's the flex (most likely is) but I cannot stand my One90. It feels so slow. Granted, I've been using LK sticks for my entire life, but man does it shoot like a wet noodle. Again, it's probably the flex (77 and I've normally used ~87).

Isn't the One95 touted as one of the greatest sticks ever made? I've got a One90 and it feels so slow. Maybe the 77 flex has something to do with it but it really flexes like a wet noodle. And I'm not a strong guy by any means.

My HS team had a team order of pro bags and I love it. I don't remember if it was JRZ, but it sure looks like their quality. I can check later but it doesn't matter since this was 8 years ago.

How do you guys know when what teams are having their sales? Also, does anyone have pictures of those AIRFORCE sticks that Warrior supplies to the team?
