  1. It's listed under sticks and shafts The LT is supposed to be the progression of the nasty R. Mr. Data could elaborate more, not sure if it was supposed to be replacing it.
  2. Quad zero is the farthest away from what you want. Quad 2 is 7-10-13-16 Like I said I used 9/10 and it felt similar to quad 1. Id go with quad 2 if he is using 10/11 right now. They should also change it for free if you don' like it. Maybe JR can weigh in or talk to the pro shop, they should be able to tell you. Or just leave it.
  3. Really depends on what you are looking for, why do you want to switch from a 10/11'? Quads gives you the ability to make tighter turns but have stability in the middle and back end if the blade. There is quad 0, 1 and 2. Alot of guys go with quad 1, but I didn' notice much of a difference between that and 9/10'. On the quad scale 0 would be better for turning, 2 would be for speed. 1 would be inbetween both.
  4. I only had it blended on quad 1, not on the quad 0.
  5. I had a 9 radius on my old ls2, went with a quad zero and love it. It really depends on preference but I like the tighter turning style. The stock steel on my new skates were close to an 11 and I didn' it like it. Went to a 9/10 and a quad 1, both were good also and very similar. I could of played on them and I think this is a good place to start. If you'e asking about 11' compared to zero, not close at all. You might be looking closer to a quad 2.
  6. Did you guys drill a hole for the LS2 in case you want to change the steel or are you just taking off the holder in that case?
  7. It is a good deal plus you got step steel. And its in your size. Feel good about it.
  8. Saw 3 pairs of 7.5 for $150 USD. That's asking. One guy had two sets. Granted there was no step steel. I was looking for my buddy but he ended up going with some pro stock nexus.
  9. Well "Like new" Guys were selling new ones for $150 few months ago.
  10. Ok just curious, I'm 11.5 on the right skate and it's 296. But I was 306 in MLX size 11.
  11. I used the stock footbeds for around 20 games, they are moulded to your foot but having flat feet I was getting blisters in my arch. Usually use superfeet but tried grafs, I like them way better than stock. My old superfeet looked too thin when I got them inside the boot, I could see the red liner on both sides.
  12. I got shot in the ankle and it was actually more painful to wear my VH because of the wrap so I went back to MLX for about a month.
  13. Barkov stick for sale if a clone is needed. https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/sticks/313914-true-aleksander-barkov-pro-stock-stick
  14. Do you have a list of all the patterns base has? Including the pro versions. There is alot missing from the website.
  15. I could see it helping for tighter turns with balancing and being able to lean in more. When it comes to straight forward skate, I would think more energy can be generated from a fixed skate and a toe flick then a marsblades digging it, clicking, then releasing trying to assist.
  16. It was years ago and I think they were regulars. I would say nexus is a good boot if your are going the Bauer route. My friend has the same issue and got 9k skates years ago. We both did a bunch of research and think nexus would be the way to go but haven' tried them on in store so I could tell you for sure.
  17. I had the same thing as you. Wore my old 705s but having flat wide feet, they were killing me so I did some research. I went into Reebok/CCM (even just an E width) and they felt way better. So I would say you would be safe going with CCM. Later I had custom wide MLX (early VH), and those are the most comfortable skates I've ever had. For 7 years. Now I'm in VH this year, they feel the same but just stiffer. You can't go wrong with VH/True if you have no budget.

  20. It will be stiffer obviously, but they are still comfortable. The other thing you have to think about is longevity, they will last way longer if you get the enhanced protection. I took a shot off my inner ankle 2 weeks ago, the hardest I've ever had. Looks like it was a really bad contusion (just waiting for the results) but I am pretty sure I would of broke or fractured it if I didn't have the protection.
  21. Its the same length and rocker, the curve is more of a x28 with more toe, no heel kink and a taller blade at the first section. I like it way better than a bc27.
  22. Flip12, I think you were the only person that requested that. They have this in a 5 and 5.5 already I believe.
  23. Now that Stephen has chimed in on the thread, maybe we start a base curve request 2.0 thread poll with the type of curve people are looking for. I.e. Toe curve, open face, Toe curve, slightly open Mid curve, natural face Etc. The rocker and the lie should be agreed upon before production.
  24. I find it hard to sauce passes with the kovalev, it opens up early and has a heel kink. I like the barkov, but I feel it would be better with a toe kink on the end. It would make it really playable all around but give you the benefits of the toe curve.
