  1. P46 would be the best bet from a retail option. I personally use the Base BC71 Malkin, cant recommend it enough for people wanting a closed toe stick.
  2. How is the stick pitch compared to say a Bauer Supreme ? Wanting to get mine a tad more neutral - might ask to order them with a small shim up front preinstalled
  3. Do you know if there is a particular person I should try to schedule and appointment with? If I am going to take the 4hr bus ride might as well make sure I am getting the best.
  4. The closest True fit center to me is a Pure Hockey outside of DC, should I go there or is it worth it to take the 4ish hour drive to West side Hockey in NYC that I hear has lots of experience with the fitting ?
  5. Same size across both brands ? I am a 8.5 wide in Supremes, not sure what size to try in these
  6. That Barkov curve looks amazing!!! Count me in for getting them made.
  7. I started out using mostly p88's but wanted more toe, switched to a e28 but that has more rocker than I would prefer and it is rather open - BC71 seems to blend what I like about both of the other curves Maybe I should give the new CCM p30 a go next?
  8. I think you really nailed it here, I have always thought my BASE sticks feel like a proto type / unfinished product. They just lack the fit and finish + graphics package of other retail offerings. I absolutely will keep using them because I am hooked on the MC71 Malkin curve though.
  9. I hope this comes in lefty! would love to know the name of this curve when it is available for order.
  10. got my powerfoots and installed them without the shim, noticeable difference! love the feel. just wondering --- I have noticed they are a little softer after your foot warms up - is there a safe way to remove them + add the shim back in?? skates are bauer supreme
  11. So Base announced a new stick today the "Nasty R". They were kind enough to let me do the Special Ops pricing program. BC71 coming my way! Ill be sure to post an in-depth review of both the stick and the curve when it arrives!
  12. Sweet thanks for the details flip ! I currently have a Reebok Ribcor: P40 and a Easton HTX: E3, was hoping for something with alittle more toe and not open From the Base Stick ordering page it lists the BC71 Blade as 5.25 lie
