  1. I live near Chicago and have been waiting for this for a few years. I would love to attend if given the chance!
  2. They will have the regular C and A on the front of the sweater but they will also have the arm band as well.
  3. Lots added and big price drops! Need this stuff gone!
  4. Took them out for the first time. When I hit the ice, I forgot I even had shoulder pads on. They seem to move with your body and feel very secure. Loving these pads so far! Will update when I hit the ice next!
  5. Huge thank you to JR and CCM for giving me the chance to review these pads! They showed up on the doorstep today and I immediately unpacked them. First thing that I noticed is that they are incredibly light. I'm coming from a pair of CCM U+09s. I tried the QLTs on and honestly, you cannot even tell you're wearing them. The construction looks and feels solid. I love that CCM went back to the U foam in the shoulder caps. I'm very picky about my shoulder pads, but my initial impression of these is extremely positive. I cannot wait to get them out on the ice!
  6. I've finally been able to use my inserts for quite a few skates. I absolutely love them and will never wear a pair of skates without the inserts again. It's amazing to feel the difference in your skating!!
  7. I want to start coaching but I have no idea where to start. I know you have to get your level 1 in order to do anything but I'm not sure of any teams that I can coach or volunteer with. Help!

  10. Bauer 37.5 elite possibly? http://www.icewarehouse.com/Bauer_375_Elite_Padded_Hockey_Wrist_Guards_Sr/descpage-BEPWG.html
  11. Hey Mike, I was using 5.5 vapor inline skates and never had the opportunity to use my JR powerfoot inserts in them. I quit playing inline and am now in a size SR 6d vapor x500. Can I use my JR inserts or do I have to order a new pair of SR? I tried contacting customer service but no response...
  12. I've outlined the 3 internal pockets and the two curved lines on the left and right are the internal skate pockets
  13. Can't wear the charge hr as it irritates my skin. Might look into one of the clip on fitbits
  14. The E700 fit me well but the Re-Akt felt better for me. Might want to try that or trying looking for some on e-bay.
  15. Thanks guys, I appreciate all the advice. I'm going to see what my tax return brings and look at some pads! Flop: that's actually a very good thing to consider! no offense taken. It's going to be a pain to find skates though. My foot is so weird.
  16. The Warrior Pro bag has 2 internal skate compartments and 3 inside pockets for accessories. http://www.totalhockey.com/product/Pro_Player_Carry_Bag/itm/14959-41/?mtx_id=0
  17. Hey guys. I've been lurking in this forum for a little bit. I'm thinking about starting to play goal. However, I suffered a lower back injury about a year ago that I might be stuck with for life. I also have some knee issues but those are from being overweight at 5'6" and 275. I guess I'm asking if goaltending is hard on the lower back? I know it can be on the knees. I'm also getting back into the game after a little bit of a hiatus so my skating and everything isn't up to where it should be. Should I stick with playing out first and then maybe look at goaltending? Or go for it now? I'm not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated!
