Shocked at the comment back there that X:60's are better looking then the 95's. Both look great IMO. Funny to see a million people like Jr said run out and ask about the fit cause they want a pair for they sake of having skates. Get what fits. And if you feel the 95's are as agile as the 60's, add a heel lift to get you up on your toes. That being said I need to get out and see a pair. Its bad but I would go into debt buying hockey gear, regardless of whether or not I use it. Although the Vapors were my first true skate love.
-
Yah thats what i thought as well. His thoughts were just that if its dressed like a xxxx it will have a wider last and be a better fit in the heel. Sounds like the two boots are the same/similar though.
-
That's what I said, told him to just go for the X:60. Thanks for the advice though, look forward to pics and reviews.
-
Ok, here's one for you. My buddy warrantied his xxxx's a little while back and Bauer called him today about it. They said they'll send him either a X:60 or a X:60 dressed as a xxxx, and he's worried about the fit. He has a bit of a wide foot and has heard the X:60 has is very narrow in the heal. Any advice?

I would just love an outdoor rink. Although it doesn't get quite cold enough in Vancouver for that. (I'm talking ice, not roller)
-
Ohh, I see what you're saying. Yah I have the one95's and couldn't be happier with their stiffness, just curious if the X:60's will give that same feel in the boot.
-
If you're in Vancouver, it might be easier to head over to CTS on Oak. They have them (although Surrey is beautiful this time of the year). Lol, I'm in Coquitlam so my closest is CT on north road. Bill's is right by my work but they're pretty tiny. Be nice to have something in the Coquitlam area but the reputation built by CT, Scoffs, and the Hockey Shop is just too dominating. Sucks cause no where to sharpen skates. Hoping I can get a new X01 and start my own little garage shop lol.
-
You feel they aren't as stiff as the xxxx's! Safe to assume then that they have nothing on the one95's in terms of stiffness?
-
That looks like a sweet facility, is it partially outdoors?
-
That 5100 looks awesome and super comfortable. X:50's look pretty nice as well.
-
Wow, no idea what you guys are talking about but I drive an 08 Caliber SXT. Its filled with pucks, sticks, gloves, and fake ice though lol.
-
Might have to head over to the hockeyshop just to look at these babies.
-
Wow. And people thought the X:60's were flashy. They have nothing on those inlines
-
lol. If they really are trying to copy Bauer I must say they've done a terrible job aesthetics wise. Boot looks futuristic and spacey with way too much clutter. While the x:60's have a lot of flash, the one95 is still a classic look that would've been a smarter option to plagiarize. Although I am a huge bauer whore so I might be biased....

Those are nice. I'd assume the cuff is short but looks even tinier due to the gloves being 12"
-
Those Grabovski warriors are awesome.
-
I think it resembles the xxxx more - all silver, red notch around the third eyelet... Speaking of eyelets the angles those are at does not look healthy...
-
Pro Tacks Reeboks are on my short list of gloves to try out. I'm staying away from Warrior/MIA made gloves. If those are 15" and you like selling at a loss, I've got a nice new Jackson to trade for those. Got 15" Lightning colors... Yeah? What else you got, eh?
-
It says no grip. Not that I'm sure anyone cares, top of the line sticks all seem to have a great feel to them (balance and weight wise)

Emailed the Hockey Shop and their comment on the x:60 jock was when it comes in it will be on the website. They didn't enlighten anymore on whether they had actually ordered it or not. Hoping they did, although if anyone finds one send me a pm.
-
What! That is actually really disappointing to hear, I've been more excited for that then any other piece of equipment this year. I'm gonna start calling around.
-
Nice gloves JR! Just curious, was that a custom request for extra glitter in the warrior logo? lol
-
I know. Must be nice JR, must be nice..... Not sure if anyone else is in this boat, but one of the items I'm quite excited about is the X:60 jock. Mine is starting to fall to shambles and could really use a new one lol.

They made you pay up front? I bought mine at Maritime Sports in Moncton, the website said they would cost $290-something but they charged me 259.99, also i never had to pay up front just paid when they were in.. but maybe it was because im from out of town. I'd assume if you were ordering through the site you'd pay up front. I've never ordered so it was just speculation - I've never talked to a shop regarding ordering custom gloves, but I guess its understandable that some would simply take a deposit.

that is an interesting skate width.... Also used my seidenberg one95 last night for the first time. First impression: hmm. my only comment after was that it was an interesting stick to use. Felt stiff but became a wet noodle when shooting. blade felt super light which made stickhandling feel light. Perhaps i'm not used to a blade with good puck feel.
