It is, but for something like having a photo with no background if you save the eps in photoshop it adds a background. So any image is plastered on a white square. Save the image in AI and it removes that background.
-
I figured it out, but I used AI and Photoshop every day. Question though, if it's saved as a tiff or eps in photoshop and then opened and resaved in AI as one of those files is it fine then?

Well, like you said in the Boston thread: when the entire NHL is breathing down your neck as you play you're going to be very careful about over stepping any boundaries. Not to mention who was officiating the game.
-
Fair enough, as the captain last night definitely should not have been his first. I think that when you see it and look at how it led to a penalty kill without him on the ice you wonder how much effect it had on a team compared to if he had been on the ice to fight off the kill. Either way the game is done with, and while I agree it is the captains job to drop the mitts ever now and then, I don't think it benefited the team at all last night.
-
I guess when you're that size it makes it tough to find combatants. And if that's the price of leadership, how much is it really helping the team? I just think in their current situation I'm not sure if that is the best way to get his team fired up. Maybe if they had a much more solid defensive core, they yes, lead with that emotion. But when your team needs you on the ice, find a different way to fire your team up. You may only be able to fight the big guys, but you can hit anyone.
-
I'm not arguing with the captain needing to lead his team with some emotion, but Rupp is a third liner (?) and Chara is their top defenceman. I'm not sure how much it helps the team if he is in the box for 5 minutes even if they are energized. Also, if Lecavalier drops them in Tampa, Stamkos and St Louis can still provide the firepower.
-
That's a little detail everyone forgets, that it was the second game. Although with the lack of emotion they have been showing all season I wonder if they will be anything further to come of this. They just seem so far from their game. IE mike rupp dragging chara to the box with him for 5 minutes. When your captain is your best defencemam you don't need him in there. Throw Thornton back out if you need a fight to energize the team.

I think when it ones to money it's never easy to get
-
I think the B's would be stupid to push it any further. They need these 2 points.
-
Well, we'll see if it's done with now. Honestly, good for Cooke. Thornton is a big guy, that wasn't exactly an even match.

JohnnyCanuck, I felt the same way so I have to ask you: If he had dropped the mitts when he should have would you have liked him as a canuck? IMO he did nothing but cause shit and then skate away and while I'm not the biggest Canuck fan I do root for the home team, and he did nothing but piss me off. However, I always felt if he would just drop them, then I could at least respect him. Honestly though, this is an important game for both teams: Pens trying to lead the division and B's trying to get in the playoffs, so I'd like to see him and someone go right off the opening faceoff just to get it over with so we can get on with the actual game of hockey. Even the reporters in Boston are acting crazy.

Yah, try 100/50 first. -
SubliTWILL, hope there isn't any serious damage there and everything heals well. My mom sliced open her hand about 16 years ago and still hasn't gotten all the feeling back in two of her fingers. Scary stuff. Needless to say your injury looks much less worse and hopefully will heal up just nicely!
-
As an official, i'm stoked to see how they keep control of it. As a player, I'm excited for a game of good hockey with nothing stupid hopefully, but a little apprehensive that they might over call it and make it boring.
-
What I don't get is that all everyone usually talks about is TJ Oshie being the young leader for the Blues. Perron seems to carry more emotion in the games and I agree is really going to help this team turn things around.
-
Dear god Kachun, where did you find those and do I even want to know what it cost?
-
They all look practically brand new too. Nice!
-
Nice Radio! I should do mine, see if they can pay for some new gear!

Cooke has had 17 fights in 11 seasons while Lucic has had 31 in 3. Definitely would not be a fair bout. Either way that's one of the reasons I couldn't stand Cooke when he was a Canuck. Always starting stuff and then skating away with a bewildered look on his face. Sometimes he does get the short of the stick and gets targeted without reason, but many times there is more than enough reason to target him. I guess every team needs a guy like that though that can get other players off their games.

I know I realized that as I was typing it. I work in front of a computer but once I leave here I'm done with it. I don't bring my laptop out at home ever, and my girlfriend only uses it occasionally so it spends most of it's time in the closet. Hence why I only post between 9-5 usually lol

I'm with you. I'm a little tired of this constantly connected society that knows what everyone else is doing always. Society is going to hell, and it's reflected in how people treat each other (because no one is out their interacting - at least that looks like the way things are going)
-
No need to apologise, I thought it was pretty funny.
-
I don't see it happening. Lucic may run and gun at Cooke, and I'm sure they'll come out hitting hard, but I think for the Bruins they need to focus on getting that 8th spot.
-
We were thinking of just dressing 6 guys. Actually our goalie is pretty solid. I just think most guys underestimate my reach and leave themselves too exposed to the poke check.
-
I always throw my blade in front of the shot, but its usually cause i can either poke the puck away before the shot or hold the puck in place when they shoot. I probably should re think it though as it is pretty easy to deflect it in a weird way on net.
