My Sidas was formed for suitable with my VH boots. The craftman always said me that one insole for just one shoes, it can't be use swapping.
-
Sorry I've mistaken. Not for tongue, but I send back for tendon guard. I also considered perhaps the shop which I always using can change to the new tendon guard if I receive the material from Scott. But finally I decided to send back.
-
Do you think it is possible to sharp FBV on Blademaster's sharpener if I bought its dresser?
-
I'm going to send my boots back for replacing tongue to flexible one.
-
I'm uses Blademaster's flatt bottom though do you think FBV is more better than it? I want to try FBV...
-
My shop too. Their firstly work is ski boots fitting. Also they deal with many kinds of other sports, hockey, speed skate, running, base ball, football or anything others.
-
I'm Sidas Conformable too.
-
mc88, I'm considering whether I will send my boots back to Scott too. My boots' tendon guard is not broken but I want to change it to flexible one. Though it takes time because I don't live in North America.

I had an icetime with VH skates inserted medial shims. It's so better feeling than normal setting. I have bow-legs. It makes rolling out force naturally. So I put shims into the medial side between holder and outsole. It makes a torque roll down to inside. I got a balance of the forces. I will have to change the holder because already it was cracked. Also the steel will be changed to Step's Velocity and re-contoure with 13' radius and +2mm forward of balance point. Perhaps I will buy felt toungue from Scott. I feel that the end of adjustment is near...!
-
I've completed inserting medial shims. I wonder whether really this adjustment would bring me better feeling or not. I also want soft tendon guard and custom tongue.
-
Ofcourse my boots have been attached little sticked out holders too. But I had used 1 size larger holders for my CCM skates which was the same size as my current boots. After I changed Bauer and VH boots, I downed its sizes from Tuuk's 272 to 263. Now we use contouring systems so I think already we can skate long edge with smaller steel. So I don't mind about this size.
-
I'm interested in your tongue too. What is the difference between the normal one and yours? Is it softer? Other hand, I think so too that you assembled larger holders for your VH boots. Of course you had been using the same size holders for your other companies' boots though we are saying that from point of view comparing boots and holders. The holder's front and back are sticking out from boots' bottom. I will try adjustment to insert medial shims for my VH boots tomorrow. Probably I will upload it here.

Ah...no. I sent 2 emails more than a week ago. First, I've sent to Canadian, International mail account of Blademaster. Then I couldn't receive reply from them, next I sent again to American account. But I also couldn't receive any reply

I'm continuing adjustment of my VH boots. I sent an Email to a processing company of plastics yesterday. I want to ask them making wedge-shaped plastic board for medial shims. The thickness will be 5kinds, 2/4/6/8/10mm. I have also sent Emails about the prices especially Battco's riveter to Blademaster but I couldn't receive any answers. Perhaps I have to contact them by a letter. The adjustment have not finished yet so I had once icetime with former Bauer boots though it have been felt too soft. VH's stiffness is great. But I want more fitment around heel.
-
I change to Sidas' Conformable insole. I also told the same question to Scott that we should continue to use the red sheet under the insole. I received the answer from him that the red sheet have put into the boots to help yellow jenuine insole. So we don't have to use them together.
-
I had used X:60 before change to VH though I feel they have the same pitch loughly. I've been using 3mm shims into both boots for heel lift and getting better feeling.
-
Definitely... I have not used Lightspeed holders ever though is ther any reasons dare to choose it over Lightspeed2? I impressed his skating techniques. Very smooth and skillfull.
-
Around 0:38sec of this video clip, how do you think what holders does he use? I wonder about its rivets. I can see a big rivet on each place.
-
I wrote the sheet and sent it to the VH.
-
I'm considering whether really buy the VH boots or not. If I would not choose VH, I'm thinking to choose CCM's new 2014 Tacks skates for my new pair. I'm worried about VH's heel line. it seems very swelling formed but my actual heel shape is different, but also similar as CCM boots'. Not swelling but mostly straight line. So I love the CCM boots but I can't forget orange colored CCM Vector Pro because its amazing fitment ability. I felt like push my foot into the sox when heat molding. Hearing some persons who reported their impressions on this thread, I'm so interested in VH boots because of the higher fitting or holding. Probably I will make my mind within this week will be end.

I use wooden end plug for my carbon sticks but really troublesome to cut the end completely flat. So I bought this high speed spinning cut machine for it. Very comfotable.
-
I wonder whether this post is correct for this thread though, I cut this Itech visor off as pro stock one which are used by Kovalchuk or Hossa. This was used by my brother and put into the loft. I chose this for testing I can really cut the visor cleanly.

Oh... I had ordered my custom sticks when Easton had been producing Stealth RS2 which is previous model of V9E. Though it changed to new model while I had been waiting. I prefer the RS2 yellow graphics to V9E's orange...
-
Hello CTB, I've never seen such color of V9E! I don't like the orange color... The next time I order my custom V9E, I want to shoose this color!
-
Custom Easton V9E sticks. Left hand, grip surface, 80flex and my own blade pattern. The pattern is based on Roenick. I cut its toe off 1cm shorter. My shooting skill uses much stick's tortion so I love this oval neck stick!
