    So, here is my progress (I'll have the rest up by the weekend) Start with this Remove the doors, and clean the fridge, inside and out...thoroughly Clean off the doors, sand fridge lightly wipe down again. Tape off and coat with primer (I used 2x coat coverage) Looks like this The little fridge behind this is currently my fermenting fridge. I am going to spraypaint the outside of it also, but haven't done it yet Couple of coats with chalkboard paint Ready to drill tonight And some of my beers... Irish Red Ale An All Grain Hefeweizen

    Got myself a 2 keg system, I upgraded to perlick forward leaning faucets, got a fridge on craigslist, cleaned it. Took the doors off the hinges, sanded them down a bit, put a coat of primer on them, and a couple of coats of chalkboard paint. Drilling the holes through the doors tonight, and attaching the faucets. I will have my own homebrewed beer, on tap after tomorrow. No more bottling for me. The fridge is also big enough to upgrade and install 2 more kegs. I chose the chalkboard paint so I can write above each tap what beer is in the keg as it will change based on what I like to brew. I've got 5 gallons of Irish Red Ale already fermented and sitting in a secondary fermenter waiting to be kegged (on saturday!!!) I'll post a couple of photos when the whole thing is complete. Pretty sweet all round

    I just ordered a 2 keg conversion kit for a spare fridge I am picking up on saturday. Which means no more bottling homebrew, and always having 2 kegs of cold delicious beer on hand any time I like. I also went almost 2 seasons without getting a goal in hockey (scored when I started playing, in the novice league, the rink got rid of novice league so I had been the very weak link on C1 for 2 season), and I currently have 3 goals in my past 3 games, 2 on the power play, and riding a 6 game point streak overall. So, it's all good for me for now

    I love it, only been one game, but it's great. I've never had a high end OPS before. Although, I will say this, it's a 100 flex, and it feels whippier than my 85 flex CCM stick

    THis is true - I unfortunately started that trend. Yeah, but you are actually getting your gloves, most of the others are "look what I can do" with no indications that they are actually getting the gloves. We can all do that, but what's the point

    Just arrived today Sherwood 9950 pro - Buffalo Sabres colours. The blue looks almost black in the photo, but it's the same blue as the jerseys Love em, will get to play tomorrow. Palms not as nice as the One 90's, but feel great on And here are the 2 gloves in rotation as of today NBH One 90 and the above Sherwoods

    It's Ovechkin Bobblehead night at the caps/blues game thursday, with a red out in effect. If any of you (kovy/jr etc) get a chance to chat to david in the next few weeks, I would be interested to know what the atmosphere is like in the verizon for a visitor. Not the usual "great fans" that the media gets, but an honest to goodness impression, and if playing against ovechkin is as intimidating as it might seem in the heads of us beer leaguers

    Just got this today. I was working the box at the caps/flyers rookie game. Got this broken OPS, broke right at the fusepoint. One90, XX stiff (so it says), Jones and #59 on it, whoever that is. Flyers colors Black and Orange, 60" long, but there is a plug in the end, not sure how long as, like I said, just got it today, and haven't unwrapped it. Might be looking to trade it

    It was a one day sale only. They do it once a year, normally it's only a couple of weeks after the season ends, but this year they ran it with the development camp. So, until next year, you are SOL

    Caps generally have good prices at their equipment sale. If I recall correctly Game used stick (any stick, stealth, one90, vector, warrior) - $25 New stick (again, any stick, goalie included) - $50 Used gloves - $25 New RBK logo/mia gloves (no caps logo, no names) - $45 New gloves (branded w/ caps logo) - $60 Skates - Used (all makes models) - $65 Skates - new (xxxx, S15, one90/95) - $300 Pants - new - $35 Not sure on the shins/elbows/shoulders. Also, one thing I was ticked about, no tape this year. Last year they had hundreds of rolls of tape for $1 each. Great deal, but nada this year
