Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
Patrick67 replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
I think I'm right between small and medium. Had the same "problem" when choosing a red star alloy frambe, but size 5 redstar fits my boot slightly better than a size 4, according to my local mounting guru who measuered everything.- 2853 replies

If you use a size 7, Vector 10.0, it would also be a size medium Vanguard right?- 2853 replies

Should have dyed the rocker arms the same color of grey as the boot, that would be perfect.- 2853 replies

But your honest and that's the most important thing. Btw I've played against some really good female goalies, so anythings possible. Think the Swedish national team goalie play's Mens D1 hockey in the States.

I know a coulpe of pro icehockeygoalies and most of them skate average at best if you put them in the "outfield" but their closing speed backwards is really good. Needless to say they all played on defense.- 2853 replies

imdb say's she's born in 1980... There's a guy on my team still using the M-boots, they have outlasted 2½ chassis so far (3rd pair are getting pretty wasted = ½)- 2853 replies

52caliber taper, rest is standard. -
Looking good, but the goalie one your "1st shot 1st shift" goal.... does he know he's allowed to exit the crease????? Haven't seen that many holes to shoot out in a looong time.

Why did you opt for the Fluery School bus combo, when your team plays in the NJ Devils outfit. Unless your team is affiliated with a NHL club, like Edge's (Phoenix), I absolutely hate complete rip-off uniforms. PP speaking.

Yeah that's natural, but I would prefer it was the athlete and not just the equipment that had improved.- 2853 replies

They pretty much broke all world records after that skate came out. Must be annoying to have been the best skater of your time and holder of a world record, and the only reason it got beat was because of the skates... I take it you don't have all-80's because that requires dremeling the boot to make the wheels fit. And on the topic of that, Would useing the Mission Vanguard Hi-lo Mg chassis (from the wicked 1) on a iceboot require you to dremel the boot or can you fit all the wheels on it? Remember the Easton1500c/Vanguard Mg conversion posted on here, and he couldn't use 76mm wheels because they would rub the outsole of the boot.- 2853 replies

Actually I don't think your a smooth skater at all based on those 2 clips, your skateing style looks "forced" especially in the second video, but nice hands and release on the shots.
