They are older pictures.

bump.. I fixed the pictures.

Nice. I tried out a zbubble/zcarbon combo and that was imo perfect. It was as balanced as any one piece I have ever used and extremely light. I dont think I could use a 40 flex (im finally getting used to my 100 flex ultralite). If you are ever interested in selling it, my wife would love it.. let me know.
-
Which is your favorite stick? Hows that zcarbon/synergy shaft combo? I have wanted to try that for a while, but I always thought it would be a little shaft heavy.

I have a feeling that we will see him again.. under a different name probably. I know that JR said they were different people, but I still think they are the same person.. -Sniper14 creates an account. -Sniper14 wants to up his selling feedback so he creates another account to sell items to . -Enter Roostingmx. -Roostingmx account cannot post in the sellers forum, so sniper14 posts in about every thread possible until he reaches fifty. -JR lays the smackdown and rips away roostingmx's selling rights. -Sniper makes an ass of himself in the "post pictures of your house" thread using his roosting account. -Roostingmx dissapears. -Sniper14 starts posting again. -The Sniper14 account gets some bad reviews in the sellers forum. -Sniper14 posts a few pictures up. In the picture's url is "roostingmx" (obviously his login for the picture host). -Sniper14 loses his selling rights. -Sniper14 was Roostingmx all along.. (according to him on msn). Or at least, roostingmx was selling using sniper14's account. I know JR said they are seperate ip address.. but honestly, how hard is it to post as one person at work/school and as another at home? This story is too fishy for me.. I BELIEVE that they are the same person.

Its none of my business, but it may be because you abused your privilege by posting multiple topics per item. That.. and you got a few bad reviews. Bad reviews = no selling anymore. MSH does a good job of limiting the risk in purchasing from other members here. You have to keep your customer happy, or you get put out of business. On top of that, msh in general does not like to be lied to. You have done that several times now and im sure the Mods dont appreciate it, nor do the rest of us. The seller forum is no place for somebody who is dishonest.

Nice. What skates did you use before?
-
I thought those gloves were yours... urrrrr.. roostings.. urr.. DAMNIT! Shouldn't you... damnit, I mean ROOSTINGMX be the one telling us how long those gloves last? The magic paper says you own them.. wait.. but then you said that roosting owns them... So do the RoostingMIA gloves last? They look expensive, but I bet you can afford them living in the house that you posted.
-
So wait.. Sniper14 = Roostingmx = Peter = Domileafs = Professor Plum = Candlestick = Dining Room... im confused. Anyways, nice gloves.

I switched mine up a little bit.. Helmet: NikeBauer 5500 Visor: Stock Nikebauer clearview cage Shoulder pads: Sherwood Classic low profile Elbow pads: I dont wear elbow pads.. if I am in a game and its required, I have a pair of franklins that are VERY low profile. Gloves: Eagle Rebels (yea yea yea, they are an intermediate, but I love the fight fitting of the glove). I would wear lacross gloves if the refs would let me... Pants: Harrow Shin pads: CCM 652 tacks Skates: Salming F1 with Custom+ Tuuk steel (took off the tblades) Sticks: Easton Ultralite with matching blade, Harrow V3 sabre, Sherwood momentum 75, Christain Woodie.

Very nice gloves!

Wow, those are slick :) The tounge on those things is long enough to make a nun scream.

Harrow V3 6' 256lbs 80 Flex Pattern 4 (Coffey Clone.. as far as I can tell) 5.5 lie I picked this one up on a closeout from my LHS. They are kind of hard to find now (I have been looking) because they repainted them when Christian wanted to use their logo on the sticks (Harrow = Christian). I was a little wary at first because Harrow was a well known lacrosse company and before a few years ago, I have never heard of anything from harrow as far as hockey goes. BLADE- Harrow’s blades have always impressed me. They are thick, well made and look good. You can tell that they had quality in mind when they made their blades. The graphic is painted on (not a sticker) and hasn’t come off in my 5 months of use with regular re-tapings. The foam core helps the feel of the puck and it feels “softer†with the puck compared to other blades I have used (z-carbons, si-cores, bauer woodies and a few Sherwood carbons). I was worried about the blade being so thick, but it hasn’t affected my shot at all. After 6 months of normal use, I still cannot flex the blade and it is as stiff as the day I bought it. There is a little wear on the heel, but nothing that would effect the performance. 9/10 SHAFT/FLEX- The shaft feels a bit stiff for a 80 flex. I like a whippier shaft and this one took a while to get used to. I enjoy using it for defense because slashing is not an issue for durability on this tank. The grip was weird at first because it was my first grip stick, but it is still in tact and I have actually found myself wanting MORE grip now. I ended up candy striping it after a few months, not because of the grip coming off, but because I needed a LITTLE more grip. It’s a polar fiber so people who have never used grip before will like it because its not TOO tacky. 8/10 STICKHANDLING/RECEIVING PASSES- I was a little disappointed when it came to passing and receiving. It took me a long time to get used to how “soft†the blade was and I found that I had to adjust my style when it came to quick passes because the puck would die once hitting my blade. This was a GOOD thing that I was just not used to. 7/10 SHOOTING- I have really added a bit of power to my slapshot. I usually use a whippier stick, but this one has a little extra stiffness to it. I have noticed a difference in my shots and have actually been complimented on the speed of my shot by a few goalies. But with this, my wrister has lost a little velocity. I do not flex the stick as much when I wrist shoot but it’s a good trade off for my new found slapshot. I never use this stick when playing wing, so I don’t take too many writsters with it anyways. 9/10 WEIGHT/BALANCE- This is where the downfall is. It is a well balanced stick, but is a bit heavier than im used to. I loved the balance of the z-carbon and z-bubble and it was tough getting used to the overall balance of this stick. It seems a bit heavy.. not in the blade or shaft, but all around. 7/10 DURABILITY- This is bar-non the toughest stick I have ever used. It has taken slashes from college games and I have put it over the crossbar more than once with full intentions of breaking it. After all that, there is not even a chip in the paint. This stick is an ABSOLUTE TANK. 10/10 CONCLUSION- As a D-man, this stick is a dream. The shaft is stiff, the grip tough and has a very solid blade. I really like this stick and if I could find a few more in the same pattern/lie I would purchase them in a heartbeat. I cant wait for the blade to finally break so I can try a few different blades in the shaft. 8.5/10

Cleats dont take as long to break in. My soccer cleats were flimsy out of the box (and they had better be.. I payed more for them than my skates).

hum, I know I've only got a high school diploma and I work in home improvement so I'm very familiar with a tape measure, and JR managed to measure himself and his fit fine. So unless youre telling me measuring yourself involves some kind of high level calculus I think I can handle it. If I only knew what the process was? :D Option (1): Get them online. Don't even size yourself. I'm sure once you get them from "FedEx" and they don't fit you're LHS will be more than happy to size you and exchange for one of their sizes. Yea right. But hey, at least you got them early. Option (2): Get sized in your LHS. Buy online. Pay an average of $60 for baking. That’s right, $60. Pay $10 for first time sharpening. I'm sure you will also get the everlasting love from your LHS sharpener. Happy Skating! Option (3): Stop whining like a little bitch. Realize you will never be good enough that these "wonder" skates will ever make a difference in your beer league game. Get them when your LHS has them in stock. Check the fit; maybe they don't fit your fat (or skinny) feet. Save time and hassle. Its people like you that make LHS prices higher. Believe it or not, we remember who good customers are and which rip off your time. You waste people's time with your scams. You work in home improvement? Ok, build me a deck. The day before you start construction after you buy all the materials, expect a phone call from me telling you that I found blueprints online and I will do it myself. Hope you enjoy the extra lumber. "Stop whining like a little bitch." Wow, I guess I'm learning what kind of language is allowed on this board. But anyway, I want what I want and I guess thats kinda it. Had my question been answered in the same manner everyone elses was this wouldn't have started. We could go back and forth all day about how we feel about pre ordering something sight unseen. But there are still internet shops out there selling gear, tv's, cars, and all sorts of stuff. If you don't agree with pre ordering something, don't do it. If you don't like porn, don't buy any. If you don't like the song on the radio, change the station. Your choice, I'm not going to bash you for it, and I'd expect the same from you. And buy the way, if I was going to build your dumb ass a deck, I would get a deposit from you first before I went and bought anything. So if you did call me the day before to cancel for whatever reason you'd be out your deposit, and I'd take the lumber back to Home Depot and tell you to be easy. Sigh.. Your name is "new player".. That alone hints that you're.. well, a new player. You will never see any of the benifits of this skate.. 2nd off, go ahead mr fix it and measure your feet :) Order that size and guess a width a, b, c, d, e, cc, dd, ee and forget the fact that not every brand of skate fits your foot. I cant fit into bauers correctly, but ccms feel like a dream. be sure to post another thread when you get your skates about the nightmares of having to ship them back and dealing with some idiot with their customer service dept because they dont fit your feet... actually, you sound stubborn.. email us from the hospital when you hurt your ancles, acellies or any of the intricate bones/muscles in your feet.. Maybe you could sell that tape measure of yours cuz obviously it would be wrong because your foot didnt fit into the skate.. :D

Dispite the fact that the picture on the back is.... well.. kinda weird, its cool that they are as custom as they are. I mean, I would give a lot to have my name, number and team logo EMBROIDERED on my skate.. still very cool if you ask me.
-
Wow.. those are pretty wicked looking :D
-
Tacks go all the way up to EE I think.. Try an E..
-
If your foot was too big for a protack, its going to be way too big for an 8090. Try the lacing thing one more time.. really keep them loose below the ankle this time..
-
I'm telling you that you are making a mistake by not trying again.. You are talking to 2 shop owners who have been playing/helping people like you and a college player who was raised skating...
-
Arch problems are due to 2 things.. your skates are too tight on the bottom putting pressure from the left to the right side of your foot (making your foot charleyhorse) and it may be a poor fitting insole. Since you have already tried bakeable footbeds, I would recommend waxed laces and a looser tie at the bottom of your foot (the waxed laces will hold. So in short, hardly tighten the laces from your anckle down and really tighten them up tward the top, by your anckes.

Where are you sore after you skate? Your foot changes a lot when you grow up... to picking up a skate where you left off doesn't do a whole lot of good. I know what you are going through though. I remember I bought a pair of rollerblades a while back.. went 12 miles in them and my foot cramped so bad that I had to call my roomate to come and pick me up. I couldnt walk on it for days.. litterally.
