Pre-ordered mine last week with the accessory package with an extra wheel, lube and bat gauge. Looking forward to getting a hold of it and seeing the spinners capabilities as I am used to a traditional sharpener. Going to be interesting. ;)

I used to skate winding river all the time. Not a great fascility as the ice conditions can go from slush to rock hard in the matter of a week. But it was 5 mins from my house. ;)

Agreed. Don't mess with the original man. ;)

(wiping away drool) NICE PICK UP on the Micron's :o

I looked briefly at those when shopping for a new ride for the wife. We went with an AWD Nissan Rouge, and she couldn't be happier. Mileage is decent, I fit in it without my knees hitting the dashboard, mileage is decent it has enough room for all of my7 month old's gear. We talkin Vapor XXXX's, 9500, CNT, and other assortments?? ;)

mmmmm.....you know how I love simple and classically styled gloves. ;) Nice pick up.

Hahhaa.....They're probably too young to know what you meant..."Robocop? Who the hell is Robocop? Does he post here?" I'm no spring chicken over here......so the "kids" remark can't be directed at me. ;) Just look at the signature. :) Heh...Thanks man. I'll keep ya in mind ;) Hahhaa.....They're probably too young to know what you meant..."Robocop? Who the hell is Robocop? Does he post here?" Seriously....kids these days! Man, I AM gettin' old.... robocop is awesome. I have a roboleg. Im chomping at the bit to get back out there, but I have another good long while till i can play again. I have titanium IN my leg too, yeeeah. I wouldn't say Robocop......I would say that you more closely resemble Wolverine.- 2846 replies

The total price factoring in all of the hardware, tax, shipping, dye - everything was a bit over $825 USD. And that's WITH getting the skates for $500.00. :o You now officially have a problem..........CONGRATULATIONS....and welcome to the club. ;)- 2846 replies

Back playing already? Nice and quick recovery. ;)

Always good to see another nice pair of custom Eagle's. Nice job on those. :)

I would stay away from the '08 6.4L. They get horrible mileage. You'd be better off going with a '07 down to a late '04 model Powerstroke. The man is correct. One of my friends is an engineer at Borg Warner Turbo Systems, the designer of the sequential turbo's. While the power and emissions are fantastic, fuel mileage sucks. We took a F250 on a road trip from NC to Detroit and on the highway we averaged 15mpg, and that is on cruise control at around 75.
-
How many MPG's? The truck now has 160 miles on it, and the computer is telling me 17.3mpg so far. That is with about 100 miles at 76mph going to hockey last night. It is rated to get 18 on the highway, and based on yesterday....I have no reason to doubt that as the mpg will get better as the engine breaks in.
-
Worked a lot of years to be able to afford it....just nice to finally achieve a few dreams every once in a while. ;)
-
I'm much too white to call it a "whip"......but I finally bought my dream truck: 2008 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 5.7L V8 with the TRD Off Road Package. 381hp and 401 lbs-ft of torque.....it is like Viagra on 4 wheels. ;)
-
You are right.....the stock X72's are great gloves. But myself and DarkStar can attest.....the custom's in Tufftek are WELL beyond the Portofino X72's.
-
Thanks.....but please....no more Warrior references. I despise that company. ;)
-
Was about 10 weeks in total if I remember correctly. Long enough for me to build excessive anxiety over their arrival. ;) Also....Just got back from game #1 in the new gloves......and right out of the box I have to say that they are the best feeling gloves that I have ever owned. They feel broken in straight out, no binding, no stiffness, just butter. I think that they are even lighter than my Carbon custom MIA MB-33's without plastic inserts. Simply unreal. No other glove company will ever get any of my business from here forward. B)
-
X72 foam, but it is thinner than on the stock X72 with the exclusion of the pouch. Basically removed a 1/16" of additional material to the internals and they simply slide like butter onto my hands as the foam is a single flap stitched through as opposed to stitched, and then stitched again to form a pocket.
-
Dark helped me get them.......your whoredom inspired me (how's that??) to purchase them. ;)
