true.. i guess if you are on a good winning team they usually don't just like patrick kane too - not very fair but i guess thats just the way it is

didn't a lot of people say the same thing about kovalev? I can never tell if people mean the player is actually lazy or just their playing style. I think David and Patrick Kane have similar playing styles that might seem lazy because its not all out speed and straight lines - but i'm not sure that means the player is lazy. I can't pretend im an expert on what edmonton thinks - but i think david just knows what his game is and its not normally blowing by people with his speed. Maybe i'm wrong .. i dunno just my 2cents

i would imagine edm will just keep stockpiling picks so that if they dont win the number 1 pick they can just trade a couple first round picks and get it - they are looking for centers i think?

its funny how often new players score in their first game - unfortunately nobody else for the team bothered showing up gratz on the 1st david!

aww thats a shame but at least its not the only number he has ever worn - it will be weird seeing him in 39 - then again i could see goc not being re-signed at some point

2 nice deflection goals tonight - 5 in the preseason so far

ive been trying to pay attention to which players are wearing makos so far - joe pavelski and derek roy are

im 5 weeks or so in and i still cant say anything bad about them - awesome skates

the way i did it was i tried on the mako 8.5 and the 8 - when i put my foot in the 8 my big toe was touching the end cap enough that it was uncomfortable - so i went up a 1/2 a size and it has been perfect

im also a size 10 and the mako 8.5 was the smallest i could go that still fit me

i just got these last weekend and i cant say anything negative so far - the only thing im wondering is what a shot to the ankle is going to feel like.. i skated on them for a couple of hours and didnt have any pain at all - i know it's still early to make a judgement but im really impressed so far

agreed - there are other people running the business - so now he just gets to devote his time into innovating im just impatient because i wanted to upgrade my current stuff and always loved the smith glove which is different than the current warrior glove.. oh well im sure it will be great when it does eventually come out

thats a bummer - although im sure when it does come out it will have some really good new ideas just like with all this equipment - i like that they aren't afraid to try new ideas and it just means everyone else will just be copying them
