ive been trying to pay attention to which players are wearing makos so far - joe pavelski and derek roy are

im 5 weeks or so in and i still cant say anything bad about them - awesome skates

the way i did it was i tried on the mako 8.5 and the 8 - when i put my foot in the 8 my big toe was touching the end cap enough that it was uncomfortable - so i went up a 1/2 a size and it has been perfect

im also a size 10 and the mako 8.5 was the smallest i could go that still fit me

i just got these last weekend and i cant say anything negative so far - the only thing im wondering is what a shot to the ankle is going to feel like.. i skated on them for a couple of hours and didnt have any pain at all - i know it's still early to make a judgement but im really impressed so far

agreed - there are other people running the business - so now he just gets to devote his time into innovating im just impatient because i wanted to upgrade my current stuff and always loved the smith glove which is different than the current warrior glove.. oh well im sure it will be great when it does eventually come out

thats a bummer - although im sure when it does come out it will have some really good new ideas just like with all this equipment - i like that they aren't afraid to try new ideas and it just means everyone else will just be copying them

is anything different with the catcher or blocker from last year? i know some people were waiting for the pete smith designed catcher to come out (myself included)

if you tape up the butt end of your stick a little better (cover the sharp corners) - you can prevent getting that hole in the palm of your glove next time - just fyi

you would hope that seau wasnt pressured into playing despite having concussions - then again sometimes it is the player that hides them and doesnt report them to the team doctors.. hopefully this will make the nfl look into the concussion topic even more seriously than they already were.

i know there are many reasons and probably contracts signed that require you selling the boot with a chassis - but if you did sell the boot alone i think there would be a decent amount of people on here that would be interested. just something to think about - it would be a nice option to have someday if it's possible

i had the retail gold synergy grip in a lidstrom curve - i used it for like 10 games and then it disappeared and i never saw it again.. i also lost a pair of Tour code blue skates around the same time.. still pissed about it

I have a pair of Daniel's gloves from sweden and they are rbk 14's - they are really long though..
