Bauer is trying as hard as possible to keep pictures of the new vapor skate line under wraps until they are released at retail on April 10th. They didn't even put actual pictures of the skates in the catalog, just a sorta negative of the skates. Its a marketing ploy.
-
Main body of the glove is tufftek and the stripes and cuff are what warrior calls classic which is just a synthetic leather.
-
Those are truly beautiful. Love what they did with the cuff on the inside of the wrist on the maroon/gold pair. Couple questions for ya. What is a contoured palm and what is the gold material on the second pair of gloves made of.
-
The one95 glove is a better buy even though it will retail for about $50 more than the E-Pro. The E-Pro is a big disappointment in my eyes. I wouldn't limit myself to just those two gloves though. It seems like you have a pretty high budget so keep your options open.
-
I think Bauer is pretty on with their release dates. My one95 stick booking arrived a day early and you can bet that FLD's will have the X:60's at their front door come April 10th.
-
Yes new one95, 75 and 55 protective will be released april 10th as well. Nothing coming in March.
-
Navy or black? Either way very clean classic looking gloves and a sweet deal.
-
The average retail price went up $10 but that's because the silver shield is put in all stock franchises. I haven't ordered a custom pair without it so I don't know if the price is lower if you uncheck the silver shield. If the price is higher, it's no more than $10. Name, number, or custom palm are the same upcharge. One thing that's nice is the timeframe on custom franchises has gotten shorter since warrior took over. We ordered one for a customer and it showed up in just over three weeks. I was impressed.

There isn't any minimum on MTO gloves but they are mostly a booking only item. Bauer stocks very few of each model, size, and color of these gloves so order sooner rather than later. As far as better shots of them, let me know what color you're looking for, maybe I can clarify what gloves come in the color you're looking for.

April 10

I don't remember which is which but the nylon version will be approx. $99 and the synthetic leather version about $109.
-
Only if your LHS puts them on their Easton booking.

The vapor protective line, the supreme skate line, and some other items from this season will carry over one more year with the Nike/Bauer logo. All new product that arrives in April and beyond will be branded just Bauer.
-
Its closer to mission soft touch. I am not a fan of grip but I liked it a lot. Saw the new line today. New Dolo looks nice. I think the new graphics on the kronik is hideous. The rest of the stick line is average. I must say I was really impressed with the elbows and shoulders. The top of the line shoulder has slightly oversized caps but was pretty mobile. The hitman which is one step down was very nice. Warrior definitely put some thought into their products.
-
Definitely. I have a pair now, but am tempted to get another when they come out. I think they look much nicer with just BAUER on the cuff.
-
Exactly, the price-point of the kronik will drop down to about where the mac daddy was.

Correct

And here I thought the point of the SE16 was improved blade durability. I've seen that happen to a couple already, not really surprised.

Almost a year has passed so time for an update. Helmet-Added a kelly green Nike 0004 and a navy 4500. Like the nike better, it fits a little different than the 4500. Still using the white jofa 480. Gloves-Added 2 pairs of Easton 4-rolls from the rangers and a pair of white/black NBH 4-rolls. I would recomend the NBH 4-rolls to anyone. They aren't as bulky as I thought they would be and the palms are stayin soft. Skates-Added a pair of CCM U+ pro stocks (also from rangers) Very light but just didn't feel right after liking my one90's so much. Too wide in heel and a little too deep Sticks-Added 3 more one90 87 flex P91A's, a xxx-lite 77 flex P91, and a Stealth CNT 85 flex Lidstrom

I know to us equipment whores, it seems like equipment has been around a while since we know about it a year before it comes out but it was just this time last year (oct 15 to be exact) that the latest vapor stick line was introduced. Its barely been out a year. There are not any prototypes around for the next line yet. Pros won't see them until around the begining of the new year and a new graphics package will be seen around the end of the regular season and it will come to retail next fall. Sorry for getting off the skate topic.
-
The X50 will fill a price point that no vapor skate has really hit before. The X60's are going to retail at approx. $599. It is equivalent to the XXXX in the sense that it is the flagship skate of the vapor line. The X40's will fill the pricepoint of the XXV and will be of similiar quality. The X50 will be introduced because there is a gap of about $300 between Bauers top of the line and their one step down.

Talked to a store owner that was down in Florida at the Bauer sales meeting. He mentioned the new skate looked 30ish with the black fading to silver. Sorta disappointed, I wanted to see an all black skate but instead of blue accents like the supreme, it would have red accents for vapor. JMHO.
-
Were they in the locker or did the store have more stock than that? I thought the locker was only coming with lindros and malkin. Anyway, Bauer started to ship out all their Holiday stick orders on friday so FLD shops should see them early this week.
-
You are more color coordinated than any person I've ever seen in my life. The NHL could learn a thing from you. Home, away, and 3rds gloves, spectacular.
-
Those Supreme Comps are a thing of beauty. $25 is a deal and a half. They look as if they are in mint condition too, can still see the size marking on the back of the tendon guard.
