  1. HAHAHAHA The rink staff all know that kid. We call him Ovie. Kid is a nice guy, but just brutal. His latest thing was his self modified helmet. He took his cage and cut out the grid that would be around his eyes, and put his stupid mirrored visor inside of his cage. It is ridiculously bad looking haha. that pic is just classic Ovie. I wish I had a picture of his hideous cage/visor combo he made. Hopefully he'll be back next season, I love hearing him yell at everyone up and down the ice...
  2. What's going on here? You two are hauling ass and the other team is coasting along like it's warmups
  3. How did you move the velcro pads on the chest part of the shoulder pads? I ripped the old stiching out and sewed them on a couple inches over. It was a huge pain in the ass trying to sew through the padding by hand
  4. Is that a joke? The farrells are the least bulky pads ever. It doesnt even look like im wearing anything under my jersey. My coach showed up late after we were all dressed and actually checked just to make sure. Dont just haul facts out of your ass. Not to try and start a fight but that's what I thought too.
  5. Really? Even after removing the shoulder caps? Either way, I decided to rip the shoulder caps off my V04's
  6. I got tired of looking like a linebacker in non check beer league so I decided to rip the shoulder caps off. If I can save up money I would love to pick up some farrell shoulder pads. Right side is before, left side is after.
  7. Try the Sherwood SP5030 Tradition Shoulder Pads What I'd really like is the Farrell shoulder pads, but right now I can't afford to spend $20 on equipment.
  8. I'm in the blue jersey. Looks like I dodged a check but really I think he just tripped...lol Sorry for the horrible image quality, I had to crop it out of a much larger picture.
  9. Finally got around to taking a picture of everything I've got. TPS Response C4 Morrow Innovative Megalyte Smyth Warrior MacDaddy Smyth Warrior Dolomite Pro Stock Shaft TPS XN10 Chrome Afinigenov Ballistik 45cal Sakicish curve NBH 5500 Helmet Oakley Pro Straight Visor Itech HS22 Visor Blue/Black Eagle PPF Gloves CCM V08Limited Edition Pants Easton ST4 Elbow Pads CCM V04 shoulders Reebok White 9k's Easton Stealth S2 Shins Almost everything is to my liking, I would just like lower profile should pads.
  10. I like the graphics too, I just don't see them holding up well. They weren't sprayed very well with clear and I can feel the edge of some of them. As long as it holds together/performs Ballistik will definitely be getting my business. I noticed the same with my 22 Caliber I got. One of the A's in the Ballistik is already half off. However, I think you'll like the stick. My 22 Cal is really nice for a mid-range stick. Do you know if e-bay is the only place to buy them? Do they come with a warranty if you get them from e-bay?
  11. Getting a free stick in the mail to test!

  13. Just got this for a long term review. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow morning!
  14. I think split sizing means that they are two different sized skates.
  15. They are amazing gloves! I've got two pairs, one black and one blue!
  16. is it just me or it seems like the skates, gloves and blades are levitating?? <_< No, it looks like it to me too
  17. I went on the second day, so a majority of the stuff seemed to be picked over; the selection of gloves and shin pads in particular were picked thin. But, there was a very nice selection of sticks at reasonable prices. Also, I was suprisingly able to haggle the price of the shinguards down because they were one of the last pairs left in my size. Overall I thought it was definitely worth the hour drive to get there. Great news! Hopefully the sale up here will be the same. I've got about an hour drive there too. And back to pictures of equipment...
  18. How was the Peranis/Hockeyworld sale?
  19. You would be correct
  20. My stick collection so far, nothing special.
  21. And yea, I am smiling. My friend was saying something to me as we lined up for the face off...
  22. I've used Tattoo Goo, H2Ocean and just plain old A&D ointment. I tried a new one on each of my 3 tattoos, respectively, and the third that I used A&D on healed the fastest.
  23. That sucks. I've had red ink for a couple months now and it is still just as red as ever.
  24. I'm sure you could do exactly what you're talking about. It's not like that part shows, just make sure its sewn well enough that it won't tear. I will warn you though, i pretty much wrecked my fingers trying to sew through the chest guard and elbow pads.
