  1. It's a Switzerland National jersey.
  2. NYG Hat, Pitt jersey, Selanne celly... does not compute!
  3. Damn, no mediums left. The only thing ever holding me back from those was the price tag. Oh well.
  4. Similar to the Vapor/Supreme skate line, the fits of the two pads are different in that the supreme is more of the traditional anatomical fit (IE, closer to your leg as a whole), while the vapor pad has a much more extreme taper. That is what he was talking about when he said it would contour to your leg better. As for the Supreme for defense, Vapor for offense, you can thank Bauer's Marketing department for that one.
  5. your color balance is off. Fix it, please.
  6. Hopefully you didn't pay more than retail. Purple and Gold is available on Hockey Monkey.
  7. In your case, as one of the 3 or 4 people on this board that the original skate managed to fit, if it's too much deeper it may not fit you.
  8. I imagine the refs are just upset that you were bitching at them. They are kids, and can be just as spiteful as you are. I can't speak for them specifically, but I know I get paid rather well to ref.
  9. I believe it is a response to the Show It Off topic becoming an "Advertise for Ebay" topic.
  10. I told the Easton Rep at SJ it would be my next skate purchase. Happened a lot quicker than I thought it would though.
  11. I wonder if that is indicative of it's quality. FBV didn't have as much of a problem grabbing market share.
  12. Which brings us back to my original point. Because that kid can skate is not indicative of a critical opinion on the sharpening. It's purely marketing. The same as fitness commercials putting ripped people in an electronic belt that's suppose to give you abs in 30 mins a day.
  13. Asking questions is great--people give their opinions on what works or does. That is a video of a kid skating around (and juggling.... and riding a unicycle....). I guess if the Z-Chan can help me do that, I'm interested!
  14. The same as watching a body builder dead lifting a huge weight and going out to buy the same straps as him. It's going to be a personal preference on the Z-Chan. Just like any sharpening. Watching a kid skate on it is not a great way to asses such a thing.
  15. No. They are velcro sections to attach advertisements.
  16. Purchased in Dec, actually. It's the SXT Plus. Insurance is a bit expensive, but no biggie. I turn 25 in a year haha.
  17. Ah, just on the Euless Squad? That's over at Nytex, and yeah, it seems to be pretty much standard to do a keg ha
  18. My team that just beat Memphishockey's for the rink champ while I was out of town. Nothing wrong with a little shameless self promotion.
  19. What's more awesome is the time he spends getting dressed and setting up his camera. Oh, and the gradient backgrounds!
  20. I've not had any issues with my RS. No reason to discount the entire stick line because of a few loud gears squeaking.
  21. Postin up for the screen.... didn't work.
  22. You didn't notice it during the game?
  23. It makes perfect sense. People's foot shapes are different. The reason shoe size and skate size have no correlation is because the fit of the two on each individual foot can vary quite a bit. Sneakers don't need to fit your foot snug all the way around, just stay in place moderately well. Skates on the other hand need to have the least amount of negative space as possible to get the most out of them. Hence the difference in sizes. It's not a bad base, but there's nothing that can replace trying things on.
  24. He could have easily passed it once he pulled it back to his forehand to either of the 2 wide open guys already on the blue line. But hey, it's men's league... we're there to look good, not play hockey.
