They make skate curves now!? Haha, I think he meant the other pair of skates are One75s
-
agreed. the rocker can not be compared to sprung. You're right, they can't be compared side-by-side, but inspiration is obviously there.

Smart ass? No. Suggestion? Yes.

Not dropping 1k at a hockey sale would be a good start in saving money.

You look like a young Jason Lee.

Why go to another site when you can just set your maximum bid and Ebay automatically bids for you until it's above your maximum or you win.

With the high volume of professional players that use <100 flex, I'm surprised there's such a big market for <100. Must be some sort of Macho-supremacy type deal.

Quick question: why the inline to ice conversion besides the fact the skates look dynamite? The feel/fit most likely.

Helmet: Easton S9 XL / Itech HS22 Mirrored Pro-Wave (I hate my big head) Gloves: Warrior Pro Series Elbows: CCM V04 Shins: CCM V06 Shoulders: Sherwood 5030 Traditionals Pants: Easton Ultra-Lites with Red NBH Shell Skates: CCM V08. I don't mind the rocket runners, only issue is I have to take them to a specific shop to get them sharpened as the closer one told me they wouldn't do it in fear of screwing them up. Sticks: Warrior Dolomite 2pc w/ Fed blade. Montreal Woodie backup.

I have the same problems at all my vapors - i have the XXV's the xxxx's and now the X:60 - at all the big toes are rubbing on the toecap and it is very painfull. I try now to heat the cap and stretch them. Hope it will be better then. greets from germany frank Question is, if they've all done that, why do you continue to purchase ill-fitting skates?

Those are siiiiiick

If everyone on the bench is taking the same length shifts there shouldn't be an issue with rest. Now, if someone is being fair and shifting the 90 seconds they should, then you are shifting for 5 minutes, yeah, you'll need the rest.

How about in running clock games, don't bullshit around with your teammates after a goal. Get back to the damn face off circle.
-
Yeah, god forbid someone be passionate about the game... even at pick up.

Not to hijack the thread but.....Is this a general rule with goalies? That they prefer the seats closest to the door? Our goalies dwell in the deepest darkest corners of the locker room, so they get in everyones way, take up as much space as possible and stumble all over your equipment while they're trying to awkwardly get out of their space. Also they refuse to sit anywhere else. Is all this normal? All of our goalies take the seats closest to the door.

That's right. Bring your own water bottle. Am I being fussy? I think that each player should have his own bottle. With all the colds and flu that's around during the winter, the last thing I want is to catch someone else's crap. I'd estimate that around 1 player out of 5 brings his own bottle. When someone asks for a drink out of my bottle I feel obligated to allow it, just to avoid being alienated. Then the bottle ends up empty before the session is over. And does anyone offer to go refill it? Of course not. Eveyone should have a bottle in his bag. It requires so little effort. Try bringing a somewhat unique-looking bottle rather than a generic hockey water bottle. It won't guarantee that nobody drinks from it but people will have less of a tendency to drink from a more personal-looking bottle, especially if there are a few other "regular" bottles to grab. Aint that the truth. I have a large 2 qt jug that I bring; bright red, and no one touches it without asking.

Very comfortable skate softer than Vapor 40s, good stiffness, they fit wider and deeper than i expected for a Junior skate, especially the toe box. In the Vapor XXXX i was a size 6. On the X50 i found there was too much volume(size6) so i went to a 5.5R skate. For me volume wise the X:50 is a better fit than my ONR95 5.5R. ONE95s not bashing them still love those just i find the lower cut boot better for my skating style. I'll assume that's why you aren't reading as well.

I'd kill for the city to put a roof over our outdoor rink. It always seems to rain on Sundays.
-
Ew, don't flip it. Why not? Free stick... Cut it and use a tapered blade. Flipping it messes with the flex and kick points.
-
They should copy old school Nike and release some remakes of the Zoom Air's. Both the white and black are the best looking skates, in my opinion, that I've ever seen.
-
Ew, don't flip it.

Ref has a visor on in both pictures... Look at some of the other pcitures of the album one of the refs has no visor. We must be looking at different albums cause I see a visor on both the refs.
