Hey! I usually don't go to this Misc. Discussions part so I didn't see this. But I was actually playing in that game when Alden got whacked (I didn't see it because I was carrying the puck up). It's funny how things turn out, I met Alden from selling him a blade on CB and now I'm playing on a team with him. He's cool and he's a real good guy, as a teammate and friend, I wish you the best of luck and remeber that we're always here for ya.

In this case, kind thoughtful words are never redundant.

So stay strong and positive. You can handle this.

In life we face tons of little hurdles to jump over. This is one of them.

Just remember to land on your feet and keep running.

All the luck in the world.

Greg.

Best of luck and keep that positive attitude. I can tell you from experience with family members that a positive attitude and will power will over come a lot of health issues.

I want to thank everybody for your continued support. I've learned to accept what has happened to me and want to get things resolved as soon as possible. I've decided to see the best pituitary surgeon in L.A. who is giving me a 90% chance of removing all of the tumor instead of the local specialist who gave me only a 30-50% chance. I'd say 90% is just a little better but more expensive. It'll be worth it in the long run if they can cure me.

Well, I finally have a date for the surgery--June 7th! The surgeon out in LA said he's confident he will be able to remove every last drop of the tumor. His exact words! I'm soooo glad I got a second opinion. My wife and I will be flying out on June 3rd and will be coming home on June 10th. Not too bad for having brain surgery, eh? I'll post here as soon as I can since my wife will have the laptop. Thanks to everyone who bought a stick to help w/ the costs!

D'oh! forgot you were teh married

Obviously your wife never graduated from Ninja Tech like mine.

One thing Alden has got going from him, is that they don't allow smokebombs in the hospital. He should be home free.

I had a teacher that underwent pituitary surgery. He recovered well but did come out with a strange attraction for jewellery though.... maybe a Stanley Cup ring would fix it???

What an amazing operation! Where are they going in on you? Under the lip?

Events like this make you appreciate everything you have just a little more.

All the best.

Actually, they're going up through my right nostril. No incisions and minimal drilling through bone! I have a ton of confidence in this surgeon so I'm sure I'll be fine. I just can't wait to get it over with!
