Yes....that's the stick I got to check out at Shattuck. It's the Trilage one-piece.

And a simple click on the 'roster' link tells you that the guy using it is Chris Porter. :lol: He evidently likes it.

Stick:Possibly Trilage? It almost looks Easton style with the Black and White nameplate, almost looks like an older Ultra Lite.

Gloves:They do look like Vapor XX gloves, on the right glove, you can faintly see the ""XX"

I saw the P on the jersey and just asked a question. If and when the stick makes it out, I'll check it out. I don't get worked up about products that people hype without using for a while.

From what I have heard, the new trilage OPS is concave on the blade face side, convex on the part that fits your hand, and the top and bottom walls are obtuse to the forehand face and acute to the backhand face. Angles similar to a macaroni noodle. I am not sure if this has been done before.

Interesting. I think ill buy a sakic one. Im always one for a ghimick. BTW, lockjaw is making a comeback! I dont see why that didnt work, i thought it was great technology, quickly change blades, but who knows.

Just a crack at myself for buying into any ghimick. I would like to know why it failed though, seems like a great idea to me, much cleaner then glue, and you dont need to cary around a heat gun, just a looong allen wrench

Bauer Harpoon was awful. I would just crossgrind the teeth off the Harpoon and slap some hotmelt on there.

i left the teeth on and did the glue, it only worked, maybe, if you only used a bauer shaft and only those blades, but that was iffy

yeah, it was pretty dumb. There have been some really sill ideas out there designed to make things easier. The Harpoon lock, and locjaw are my two favorite silly ideas. Anyone else have any that stand out to them?

The worst gimmick was (It was made in BC so some people might not remember it) a shaft called the 'Sniper'. It was a shaft that could be taken apart so it would be easy to transport. When Mogilny was here in Vancouver he used a Sniper but I don't think it was the 2-piece.
