CCM Survey

Just completed a survey on Vector and 8K skates. It looks like they are thinking of changing the looks of the skates a little. Hopefully, they go with the more traditional looks.

Side note: Since they didn't have Externos as a current skate choice my answers made it look like I got a pair of Vectors for under $100.

I love the look of the old CCMs.

They were like the 'Rapide'-Series, those with the white "thing" from the ankle to the heel.

id like to see a great white vector. make all the darker nylon/leather on the boot black and the shiney silver/greyish plastic a nice white

It was an odd survey as they would show the same skates and ask me to distinguish difference.

They had subtle differences, like different color toe caps or different color manufacturer logos.

Apparently they don't think that people buy Mission skates as it wasn't even a choice in the "what kind of skates do you own?" question.

Prob because Mission has such a small share of the skate market that it's not really considered a major competitor to them. Just like polls for who you would vote for President,.. the Communist Party guy is never a choice. :-)

They just wanted help deciding what color trim to go w/ for the vectors and 8k it seemed

As mentioned the differences were subtle......mostly if not all in the coloring.

I ahted the balck ones, they look like a cheap pair of skates.

So because there not flashy and silver, they look cheap, so i guess 8090's are a crappy cheap skate. I personally thought the black ones were one of the nicest skates ive seen, trad. and a little flash.

those black rbks are definately the nicest skates ive ever seen they look twice as good as my synergys

In the "which one would you choose, if it were free", I swear some looked IDENTICAL. I mean, do I care if the logo is green or yellow? That subtle?

I thought the questions were weird too "Which do you think looks like a poser's skate? Which do you think a pro would use? blah-blah" All guaged from pictures? Funny.....

I`m with ya Ogie. When they asked which skate is better for tight turns...I was looking to see if the boot cuts were different because the colour of the logo is irrelevant!!

A most confusing study...I hope they know something I don`t.
