When I'm playing Hockey people usually call me Datsyuk beacuase I play a lot like him and look similar to him on the ice... same bulky shoulder pads, skating style, left handed, things like that

Then my MSH name is just because Fedorov is my favorite player

I might be wrong, but I think Zak was referring to people's usernames, not nicknames. Being German and knowing English better than most of us, you have to cut the guy some slack....

So, for instance, why FuryOfOne or hockeypunk3 or Midget14, etc?

Yeah, youre right, i wanted to know the usernames, but nicknames can be funny too.

I always mix it up because mine are identical ;)

There was a hardcore band from jersey back in the day called Fury of Five, obviously they had five members, so I based it from that.

So, Zak, where does "Zak" come from?

Well when i was like 4 or 5 i used to play Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders on the C64. I loved that game so much and played it all night long with my dad. In the game you were able to 'kill' a person, there is an astronaut on mars and if you dont find a new oxygen-bottle he would die, and i couldnt find it so he died and i started whining and my mom loved that and told me this story very often.

When i started to play games in the internet i needed a nickname so i took 'zak' cause it was the first game ive ever played.

In reallife my nickname is "Ossy" cause my lastname is Oswald
