I didn't get to see him play that much because he was forced to retire, but from what I saw, I loved he way he played. Seemed like he was amazing, and he definitely deserves this.

For argument's sake, does this mean in a few years Lindros will get in? Obviously you can't compare them interms of personality and what they did for hockey, but from a sheer numbers standpoints- Neely- .956 PPG, Lindros- 1.205.

About time! Very happy indeed.

Skill, grit, attitude, and most importantly accountablity.

He is the definition of a HOF.

:D

Bad trade for Vancouver, sending him to the Bruins.

Not really. At the time Neely had just 14 goals in his best year and Barry Pederson was a 100 plus point getter.

Things did turn around quick though.

The term power forward was actually coined by Harry Sinden when he described the way Neely played. He stole that phrase from the NBA.

Therefore hockey now uses that term.

News just announced they're inducting Cam Neely in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

He had it all. Power, speed, finese, and was a great scraper on top of it all.

Go Cam. Go Sea Bass.....

Huge Neely fan here. After Bourque was traded I resolved myslef to never buy another jersey that didn't have either Bourque or Neely on it. I still won't.

My favorite moment was vs the Nords when he barrelled down the right slot did a spin-o-rama and backhanded it 5 hole through Tugnutt's legs. Pure beauty! He's also the reason I won't get rid of my Rock-em-Sock-em hockey videos 1-5.

a power forward is i forward that will go in the corners, fight, ruff it up in front of the net, but he can also easly control the game and score big goal

a good exemple is someone like: Breendan Shanahan, keith tkatchuk, eric lindors

Adam Graves in 94...Mike Grier...a few of my favories...

Grier can put the puck in the net?

Yeah, he developed the stoniest of stonehands in WAS...last time I saw him I gave him hell for it...

Another stat I saw today further qualified his induction into the hall.

57 goals in 93 playoff games ... add clutch to his resume.

Your opinion of Grier would totally change had you been at a tourney around here the end of April. The guy made a complete ass of himself and I lost any respect I may have had for him.
