Yeah I cant even make them budge a millimeter, and the stick is huge ,I cut 3/4 of a foot off of 1 and it is a cm smaller than a stock synergy.I dont care though I like stiff sticks.

The flex is the same when theyre cut as when they are full length.I flexed the stick at full length and it didnt budge.

That's not possible. You put less energy in over a greater distance to flex a longer stick. You put more energy in over a smaller distance to flex a shorter stick.

Anyway, maybe it was too stiff to start with and then after you cut it it was made even stiffer.. But hey if you like your sticks like that its your call.

Just because you were too weak to flex it before you cut it doesn't mean you didn't make it stiffer.

now you're contradicting your own posts. You couldn't flex it at full length, cut it and made it stiffer but now you can flex it? I've owned TPS x-stiff sticks, they're pointless for anyone under 6-5 with popeye-style forearms.

I use theRecchi curve

I heard ccm are gonna take the recchi curve out of there blades is this true?

They may rename it but removing it would be a mistake as it seems to be the best selling CCM curve around here.

I was finally able to borrow a cam today and take some shots of my old Christian customs or the last one that is left to be exact :D I wonder if they still have it on file with all the recent changes!? Maybe I should try to go for some of the new type of blades they make.

Correction, that IS the grossest curve i've ever seen. Come to think of it, thats a bigger hook than coffey. Man if i could use that blade i would be amazed. I like the heel curves.

Funny this thread has come up again as I went digging for it the other day.

Since it's back, I'll ask my question.

I started off as a Recchi user but wanted something a little more open for when I'm in tight and have to roof it.

In view of this I want to a Sakic and really like the curve, but I'm not adjusting from a lie of 5 (Recchi) to the 5.5 of the Sakic. Curve good...lie not good.

My LHS mostly carries Easton with a few CCM curves and really not much else on a consistent basis.

To go back to a lie of 5 I'm thinking about giving a Modano a try. Is there much of a change going from a mid to a mid-heel curve?

I find that I can get the puck up much better in close with the Recchi than the Modano.
