I'd like to see my man Naslund higher, but they're right, he's lacking a big play off performance.

I also like Thorton, but he hasn't had a huge playoffs either...hmmm.

As for Crosby...I'm liking this kid, but he hasn't played a game yet so what's up with that?

What do you think?

JJ

Absolutely no way Naslund should drop out of the top 10. Sorry. I think Doan should also be higher. Solid list, solid list. Too bad I lost my issue..:(

Crosby better than a guy who put up 98 points one year? (Hejduk) As Hockey News' credibility flies out the window.....

Crosby shouldn't even be on the list. He still hasn't played one regular season game. This hype is just bullshit.

how could they put crosby but not put ovechkin

Ovechkin is Russian and they haven't been making a living off of hyping Ovechkin during the lockout.

I think heatley dropped because of his showing at the worlds, and well crosby is a victim of the hype machine but he did play on the world cup team so there is some basis of comparison. I am surprised there was no Ovechkin or Malkin, but like Chadd said TSN didn't pimp either of them during the lockout.

Heatley hasn't really played well since the car crash... I hope he can put all that behind him in Ottawa.

Agree with the post about not enough Gpalies cos it is the most important position in hockey.

Crosby shouldn't be on the list as he hasn't played a regular season game ... period.

Pronger being higher than Niedermyer is also crazy.

There's some very suspect people in there ... if it's voted on recent performance then why is Mondano in there.

I think THN aways make it a bit controversial with some choices to get every one talking

Pronger being higher than Niedermyer is also crazy.

Pronger is head and shoulders above every NHL D in the league. I wouldn't even put Niedermayer in my top 5, maybe top 10. He is by far the most overrated player in the NHL. He's been lucky enough to play on teams which cover him constantly in Jersey its almost impossible to make a mistake, and on Team Canada he had the likes of Pronger, Blake and others covering. As soon as they weren't around, he looked below average. I'd drop Foppa, but understand their reasoning. If healthy he's probably the #1 player in the NHL, but he hasn't been healthy. I don't understand why Hannan is on the list.

Or Redden.....

We'll agree to disagree about Pronger, given he is massive and logs a lot of time but the East has had the stronger over all teams and for his size I think Neidermyer players bigger than he is... Pronger can't possibily play bigger!

I'm convinced Niedermayer kicked your dog or had relations with your sister. Other than Guru's bloodlust for Lindros, I've never seen someone hung-up on one player as much as that.
