Is anyone still using the Itech helmet? Seems as there are tons of Mission helmets, at least in the games I've seen so far, but I haven't seen any Itechs yet.

Richard Park, Todd Bertuzzi, Trevor Linden and Fedor Fedorov are ones that I know that are still using Itech.

Alot of guys for the Habs are wearing the Mission helmets this year. But Dagenais switched to an RBK helmet (He's been wearing one for the last few games)

Saw Bertuzzi still wearing the Itech HC-100 in the Edmonton-Vancouver game last night.

I also noticed that he wears the Mission (blue) at home and the Itech (white) on the road.

Here's the deal on the Intake -

Trip-Padding (three layers of padding - Comfort Gel Foam, EPP and Dynamo, which is a revolutionary new liner that not only adds protection but increases airflow.

Dynamo material is also inert to bacteria, transfers moisture, channels airflow - all these properties have passed ASTM standards.

Not too shabby really. Can anyone find out for sure what they mean by Winter 2006? If its Jan-Feb or not till Nov-Dec. I dont know where to look to find that out..

I just saw some detailed pics of the new Mission helmet! WOW! the thing look like its gona be so comfy! It has what it looks like eppfoam, a head lock at the back/bottom section of the helmet and dynamo airflow packs that increase airflow! It looks like it will be very lite and comfy, a big step up from the HC100! I can't wait to get one and I can see why so many NHL's are wearing this helmet!

BTW, my LHS told me that the new Mission helemt will come out in about 3-4 months.

I hope they will have XL too. and hopefully has the Vancouver Navy color.

Can anyone tell the difference in out look of the Itech helemt and the new mission helmet? Are they the same shell with only different material inside??
