Squirrel 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 Ones built for durability and the others built for lightness. It's what you want I guess
Michael9 57 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 SL : better performance and lighter, crappier durabilitySt : better durability, crappier performance and heavier
2-Keys 1 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 both are pretty good sticks. i have only used the SL. its performance is increadible but like everyone else has said they do lack in durability. mine lasted about 3-4 months. quite a few of my teamates use the ST, from what they say it has good feel and preforms well. it is MUCH more durable than the SL. its also a little heavier but compared to most in its price range its not too bad. it also depends on how much you want to spend. SL=170 usd... ST=150??? maybe a little less?? not postitive...
forsberg91 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Yeah its about that at my LHS. The SL goes for about $180 USD and the ST goes for $
Gongshow11 1 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 st compares to old synergies, sl and stealth are high performance sticks. st is still a high performance stick since id say a good portion of nhl synergy using guys use that
forsberg91 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 I'd say that ST is high performance, but the SL and Stealth are higher performance.

Cavs019 710 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Ive gone through 7 SLs since august. where's my Drury ST easton!?!?!?!?!?!? My shooting technique is primo, they just keep breaking in the same spots. Either right in the middle of the shaft on a slash or start with a crack on the top of the blade near the shaft which starts to run through then cracks clean in half. #96 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 That's exactly where all my Easton blades go, top of blade near where it meets the shaft.I never thought it was torque induced though. I always thought it was slash-induced. Maybe my shot is better than I thought!
tyler9 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 I wouldn't recomend the sl . 4 have broke on mine team in the exact same spot (top of the blade were it meets the shaft. Only good thing i can say is i got a stealth as my warrenty replacement.
ash_96 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 is the ST a lot more durable then? how long are they roughly lasting for you guys? how do they compare to the bauer Endure? Thanks
sn1per 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I know the ST blades are stronger than the old synergy blade, but how does it compare in puck feel? Shooting? Do you guys really notice the increase in torsional stiffness with the extra i-beams?
masterpirate13 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 as far as I can see the ST is basically just the old synergy stick, only with a little bit more sturdy blade to it. The SL is basically a beefed up stealth that is supposed to last a bit longer but have a different feel to it.
Jimmy_Wolf 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 masterpirate13 Posted on Nov 2 2005, 11:42 PM as far as I can see the ST is basically just the old synergy stick, only with a little bit more sturdy blade to it. The SL is basically a beefed up stealth that is supposed to last a bit longer but have a different feel to it. The SL and Stealth have nothing to do together. They have completly different fusing technology. The SL's fuse point is just like the old Synergy (tapper blade inserted in a tapper shaft, which translates in saying it's a Synthesis technology), whereas the Stealth has a much lower fuse point.See how the Synergy is fused: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a275/hoc...ey/69ae397f.jpgThen check out the Stealth:http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a275/hoc...ey/a0be4649.jpgI personally thought the ST and SL had the same shaft, but with a different blade only... Fonya 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Wow great pics. I never thought the stealth went that low. How'd you get those raw sticks? Or make them raw?
malcb33 99 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I would say that the St is definatly a performance stick! It is alot better than the old synergys. The shaft has concave to it (like a XN10) and the blade is really stiff and has OK feel to it( alittle better than the old synergys)!
Jimmy_Wolf 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 whbd18 Posted on Nov 3 2005, 06:16 PM Jimmy,so is the stealth fully hollow untill its fuses to the blade heel? Yes the Stealth is, just like the Vapor XXX and Vector 120. In some ways, the Endure is also empty all the way down...However, the Stealth, Vector and Endure are all two pieces with a fuse point, whereas the XXX is a true one.Fonya Posted on Nov 3 2005, 06:43 PM Wow great pics. I never thought the stealth went that low. How'd you get those raw sticks? Or make them raw? I just have lots of free time on my hand to do this kind of things. You should try with a saw B)
