best puck feel shooting stick

Recommended Posts

hey i have been using the ccm vector, i think the puck feel is excellent but when i shoot slapshots with it, it just doesnt feel right it feels like it will break.

could i have opinions on the best stick for puck feel but that shoots like a beast and nice and tough and sturdy when you let a slapshot rip.

Tapered Shaft with a Wood blade, IMO

Puck feel is so PP, you can't say which is beter for everyone. I personally love the feel of Stealth's, and pretty much any carbon blade. I would never take a wood over carbon except for price, but I have lots of friends who do prefer wood, and will only use wood.

Is there anyone out there who has tried both the Synergy SL and the Mission Hex-1?

I have an SL and really like it (durability aside), but I've heard great things about the Hex-1's puck feel and I wouldn't mind giving it a try next time I buy something new.

What does the Hex-1 shoot like? Is it comparable to the SL?

Thanks hehatemefrisbee. What pattern, flex do you use? Have you tried an SL or any new Easton for that matter?

I absolutely LOVE my Hex-1. It has GREAT feel, and it launches rockets. Seriously, go with this stick. I exepected it to break in 1 game. Not a hint of that at all through 8 games.

I would say the shaft is behind the XN10 in terms of performance but the Hex blade is much better.

I have never used a vapor xxx stick but I heard it had great feel.

Im using a pro pattern. It has little curve, with a decent amount of loft, and its 85 flex.

I love my XN10. I am able to fire rockets with it...well as hard as my shot will get since i've been a goalie all my life and am now skating out. It is definately the easiest stick to shoot slapshots with that I have ever used. I have used a long list of sticks, my little brother skates out and my uncle gives him stick after stick from every major brand.

Have had my Ribeiro hex-1 for two months now.... 1st ops stick I have ever stuck with. And man this stick is tough!!! for the past 6 years I have used ultra light 100's with SOP 950 blades.

thats not true. The XN10 is slightly lights because of the "pure balance" in it. Thats about it as far as I know. It was basically Louisville battling the easton release of the stealth.
