I'm glad the sabres are going back to the old colors. An updated design with those colors should look good, I'm just not sold on the snug fitting jerseys.

I like the idea of the Sabres moving back to a blue based jersey as well. I think the Sabres' colours would look good updated to a lighter navy blue (think lighter than Oilers' navy blue), Vegas gold (old gold) and white. They could use dazzle for the gold for a nice accent look. If they used a vintage styled jersey with (gasp, dare I say it?) a laceneck there are some really nice design possibilities even if they used the original logo. Personally, I think they should recolour the third jersey logo in blue and gold.

I think a shade of blue in between Oilers' blue and Maple Leafs' blue would be a nice mix. The old royal blue just seems a bit bright for me.

i really like the capitols new one.

If you're talking about the one I posted, that was meant for the 01/02 season, shortly after leonsis took over, but it fell through.

Aparently there is a redesign of both logo and colour scheme, but as of yet, there have been no images floating about.

Unless you know something I don't, in which case I would be interested in seeing it

I like the stars jersey home and away jerseys. I hate the mooterus. My view also might be swayed b/c my uncle was the one who designed home and away jerseys.

The Star home and aways jerseys are fine, but the really need to change their third jersey. Can't tell you how disappointed I was when I saw it for the first time.

personally, i hate the red white and black that the sabres wear now. Most people in this town have been waiting for the blue and gold to come back since they changed the jerseys. The last home game before the lockout, the sabres skated warm-ups in the red and black, and then came out for the game in blue and gold as kind of a one time thing. The place went absolutely freaking crazy.

I really do like those old Sabres concepts that you dug up. They have a very nostalgic/vintage, yet modern look to them. I agree that the new style logo kinda lost something that was a part of the team. That being said, Buffalo does need to go back to the blue (preferably the royal or not far from it) and gold. Thats where the roots are and should never have left.

The alternate logo that Dallas has looks WAY too much like the Texans logo, not much for originality thats for sure
