Dangles 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 Ahh... I've done it. Three years ago I was in the corner of my own zone and i fired it cross zone and it went through the crease of the goalie's stick and through the five hole. I'm sure its been done lots before. Marc-Andre Fleury kind of thing.

NashvillePreds 1 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 Back at an All-Star tourney when I was in Squirts, I was playing D and tipped a shot going towards my goalie. I think I was thinking it was going slow enough to stop, but it just hit my stick and went straight over the goalies shoulder.
Stampeder 2 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 Did that in like Novice, tryed to give the goalie the puck so he could cover up, we lost the game by one :(.

redwater_12 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 ya, I'm just as guilty as the rest of you. I took a slapper, trying to clear rhe zone, so teh goalie let up, and it bounced off my d partner into our net :( . And speaking as a goalie, you can never tell until its to late when your own team somehow scores on you. Man its tough being a goalie.....
hockey39 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 During my goalie days, had a teammate try to move out from behind our net and deke around the forechecker. Result, he lost control of the puck and slipped it by me on the far post. Had the same look Nabby gave Brown but the puck got by me Oh well, no biggie since we won.hockey39
jay 1 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 I tried to clear a bouncing puck to the boards behind the net and it went off my stick wierd off the post and into the net. It was during a pickup game though so it doesn't entirely count.
steve66 45 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 I was taking the puck from our goalie to set it up behind our net, but it just rolled on me and went 5 hole... I like to blame the goalie for not covering up as a precaution... oh well we both learned from it.
NCPUCK26 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 funny this topic came up. Just had a tourny this weekend, Saturday night on the first shift of the game, about 30 seconds in (btw i was playing against someone from the board) and a kid saucers it out front, i try to knock it down and i put it right through my goalies legs, felt like an ass cause he had a 3 game shutout going, and we still won, that was the other teams only goal of the game. Then on Sunday a kid on our team accidentally did just about the same exact thing.
chris17 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 I have never scored on my goalie but a kid on my team during our championship game had the puck at our blueline and went to shoot it around the boards and shot it right at our goalie. His excuse was that his wrists snapped.
Kyle_M 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 I've sort of scored on my own goalie. I was playing D (like I always do) and there was a forward next to the crease and the puck was coming towards him. I slapped at it, as did he, and it deflected up in front of our net. One of our forwards came back to try to get the puck to the boards. Instead, he knocked it in our net when it was still in the air. I didn't really score, I just assisted on a goal on our net.
LegoDoom 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 I've had a puck delflect off my skate and into my own net, but that's about it. Had a couple of close calls by passing it off the back boards, but nothing's gone in so far.

Eagles39 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 In squirts I was in my own zone and I went to shoot it behind the net and shot to much to the left and put it right pass our goalie. I played defense that season and it was the only goal I scored.
hockey_player_11 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 Oh man, this year some kid on my team scored on our own net. The other team dumped it in, and it bounced out to just under the top of the circle. This kid gets the puck, and then wires it straight into our net. He meant to put it around the boards, but he was a complete hack. It was the hardest shot he ever took, and his only goal the whole year.
blackhawks4ever 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 OK last season they made me play a couple of games as D man (hate it). I was playing right d, and they were coming in 2 on 2. the guy in front of me shoots from the top of the faceoff circle. I turn around to find the rebound, only to see that the goalie had used his blocker and it was coming right back at my head. I tried to duck under the puck but instead "headed it" like a soccor player right into my own goal. Hate playing D!!!
Flo Hockey 7 0 Report post Posted May 17, 2004 We had the worst goalie ever to play hockey (he was afraid of the puck) on our team last year. He would be pulled regularily. One time I had the puck around the goal line at the other end and I tried to make a centering pass (kind of just threw it out there) and it went all the way down through the goalies legs. Damn that was embarresing for not only me but him too.
Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 That EXACT same thing happened to my brothers/my goalie one year. He was terrible. I was playig HL at thetime and we only played 16 regular season games. Kid managed to let in 170 goals! It was retarded. Sad thing is he actually thought he was good. flaming_june 2 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 In squirts I was in my own zone and I went to shoot it behind the net and shot to much to the left and put it right pass our goalie. I played defense that season and it was the only goal I scored. i was playing roller hockey in a league, while defending, i tried to shoot it off the back boards to the other size. but i put it near side right on. my goalie saved it with his blocker, but they scored right after on the rebound. the funny thing is, my goalie said after he was expecting me to shoot on him, thats why he saved it..
