Who use 8090 in NHL?

I could be wrong, or thinking about this too much,but I am pretty sure Simon Gagne has somthing other than 8090's. The pictures I could find of him from the Olympics he was wearing somthing that looked like 8090's with the composite outsole and all that BUT 8090's don't have a flex notch like his skates do. I don't know if they add flex notches for people but if they don't they definately are not 8090's

I went to the Nashville/Detroit game to see some old friends a couple of months ago and I was a few feet from him.

What would be the purspose of the white TPR outsole? More rigidity? Just likes white?

Was at a game back in January and sat right behind the bench, I though they were 8000's or 8090's but I could be wrong...they did look a little different than those in the pics above (kinda like what Salo has on in the pic above posted by the iceman) and he was adjusting the laces after every other shift...

I watched him play his junior hockey in Portland, and I was hoping he would have a shot with the Sabres this year after a few years in Rochester, and hes certainly made the best of his opportunity. Maybe its the skates....

Vancouver, but close enough. I've been going to hawks games for years and now I'm up at UW and try to catch them against the T-Birds during the school year and go to games when ever I'm home. I just try to keep track of all the guys who come through and move to other things.
