Anyone hear of them? Our league is sponsered by them and a lot of the guys use their sticks.

I'm looking for a new stick and was thinking about giving them a try. Anyone have any experience with them?

One of my teammates got a deal on them so he bought 2, he broke both of them in one game.

It could of just been bad luck.....other than that not too familiar with them

Hmm...well I just called them and they said that less than 5% of their sticks get sent back and they have a 60 day warrenty...

I have bought two hockey sticks from them and they both broke in the first game. The problem I had was sending them back to Canada would cost me as much as buying a new stick.

I've heard they're ok sticks...but brand new isn't worth it. I would only consider buying them if they had closeouts on eBay again...was tempted to buy a couple when they were listed a couple months ago at reallly good prices.

Are you playing in the NCHL? Just curious as I know they have a "partnership agreement" with Ballistik.

Roman runs a great league. The expansion has been awesome. He has gone from having 24 teams last season to 60 this summer including the Women's division. Top notch operation all around.

I know.

Even though I played for the past 2 years and played at a high level Im playing in the new women's league.

They have powerskating classes, stick handling classes and other hockey specific classes.

I convinced my best friend (who's never played hockey in her life) and my cousin (who played until she was 12...shes now 22) to play. Its great.

I'm having a blast there. I'll admit that Im one of the stronger ones out there, but every practice I learn something new.

Are you in the NCHL?

I've met their local rep here in Minnesota a few times, good guy and is really knowledgeable about the products. I haven't used any of their sticks though, because I use my own repaired sticks...to show off the repairs. ;)

I you are looking for a new stick, you should check out the SalmingUSA site, he's closing out his items + he's a MSHer...

I went to some trade fair some week ago and some out-of-town hockey store had a stand there, and the guy there claimed that they have received alot less complaints from customers about the Ballistik OPS than any other brands (don't remember the exact percentage but it was something like 70% less complaints than the other brands), and that it was allegedly "better" (as in more durable) than any other OPS, and also that the team he coached had received a big batch of Ballistik OPS because of the "superior durability". Is there any truth to this? Do they break less often, and are there generally less customer complaints compared to other brands?

I just broke my ballistik tapered se52 shaft last weekend after it got caught along the boards.

Best shaft I've ever had, super light great kick and good durability.

I just wish they made a semi-grippy version ala. warrior nipplegrip or tactile grip from bauer. I'd buy one (and alot more) again in a heart beat, if that came out.

Great stick, only thing is it's just as expensive as Easton and doesn't have the same brand name appeal to unknowing customers.

Composite company from ottawa canada

did alot of OEM'ing for other companies back in the day

then in the early part of the decade decided they could be their own hockey company

they make the lightest stick on the market if i remember correctly

405 grams for a 52 calibre sr (their ultra high end stick)

although the original stealth is the lightest ever produced 395 grams

bought the patent for the UB offset blade which they sell in their blade line up

have heard nothing but good things

anyone have some prices?

Patrick says expensive.....

I've been using my Ballistik 52 cal for about 3 months now after finally getting my hands on one.

The 52 cal was originally priced at $280 each quite a few months ago, but after they dropped it to $200, bought my second one. I can honestly say they're some of the best sticks around - 45 day warranty on them as well.

They are extremely balanced and the feel on the puck is amazing. In addition, they do feel like the lightest stick on the market. I would highly recommend using this stick.

(I should mention i'm a roller hockey player)

What other sticks have you used in comparison?

I've used most high end sticks that are available - Stealth CNT and S17, the RBK 9k, and the One90/XXXX stick.

I would say it's most comparable to a Synergy SL or SE, but with better durability and kick. The only thing i would advise is that their "drury-like" curve is more like a lidstrom curve.

I really do like the feel of the stick though. I think if more of the pros were using it, it'd make a very big hit among the rest of the hockey community.

Wow sounds awesome if you say it's better than those sticks.. very tempting.

By the way, they come at 66"? That's freakin long!

I'm pretty sure it's 60 inches - i never cut my sticks and it's the same length as the Stealth CNT i have. I really would recommend the stick. I also believe there's a long-term review in the stick reviews section here. I think that was one of the lower models though.

Has anybody tried the grip-version?

I thought the regular finnish was a little too slippery, wondering how thick/heavy the grip coating on ballistik sticks it compared to other brands.
