Bags

Recommended Posts

I have been looking for a good bag, decent size, not flashy, and without wheels. It seems like every DECENT to good bag has wheels. Anyone know of any bags that don't have wheels that would fit into what I am looking for? Thanks!

ccm 1052 tacks bag... very nice and heavy

I got a CCM bag for X-mas a few years ago and half the zippers were broken within a month.

Same thing happened to a bag I got from CCM, but now is replaced with a wheelie bag..

I've got a Graf bag thats pretty decent. I usually go through a wheel bag in less than and the Graf bag has lasted over a year so far with no rips. Highly recommended and it's a carry bag.

Get the Eastwesthockey.com bag by Fury. Absolutely top notch materials and construction. Easily worth more than the 60 they sell for it. I looked at the Sterling Muskoka, but decided to give this a shot first and am very happy that I did.

All bags zippers break easy and turn to crap pretty quick.. I empty and fill many bags each week for equipment sanitizing, and it don't matter the brand, they all pretty much suck. The bags that seem to hold up best are the canvas ones made for teams/organizations. The closest retail bag like them is the CCM Pro Tack bags. They have heavy canvas and heavy duty zippers.

see ifyou can find a place near you that sells old stock. most of hte manufacturers moved to wheeled bags for their higher end only last year-ish, so if you find a close out store, i'm sure you can find good, high end bags without wheels that may be 2 years old

Does anybody know any places in the Toronto Area that sell the Easton Stealth S5 Bag? Anybody used one of these, it looks exactly like what I am looking for. Thanks for all your help.

I bought a used 40" bag with 2 skate pockets and an extra external "misc." pocket... it's canvas and the zippers are HEAVY duty -- the bag is a beast and I love it... it's made by a brand called "Kobe" -- I had never heard of them, but it was made for a kid who played travel for the Tecumsah Eagles, or something... i've been incredibly happy, I got it for like 15$ off EBay after shipping.

go for a good quality custom bag or a used NHL bag.

There are no skate holders on them, but their big enough to put 2 equipements :P
