Custom Salming F1's.

Salming don't make skates anymore.. I was "lucky" enought to get a pair when Jason was selling them. IMO, these are worth their weight in gold right now due to limited availablity. Hands down my favorite boot. I took the t-blades off for tuuk+'s and im working with my teams equipment jockey doing custom work on the tounges right now to add a little more fleece on the inside. I want a little more support without overtightening my skates.

I will post up more pics when the tounges are finished.

For those of you that got the custom Grafs, what kind of specs did you decide on? Like stuff we can't see from the pictures.

Same with mine. I have 1/4 sizing and upgraded the stiffness because i felt the stock stiffness was to flimsy.

I recently had a pair made for me. I had previously been using a 10 1/4 Bauer 7K and a 10.5E 7Ks. I had also used a Vapour XX along with a long line of CCMs (1152, 1052, etc).

I had them fitted and went for a XXX boot with stiffness 3, ankle packs, custom runners, with an extra large toe box. With the custom fit, I was able to go down in size to a 9 3/4 on one foot and a 10 on the other.

These are definitely the best fitting skate that I have used. For the extra $65 on a regular pair and the extra time waiting for them to be made (it took about 2 months), it was definitely worth it. Another bonus was having the boot made in Canada vs Asia.

Jason took a picture of them before I left the store if any of you are interested. If I get my camera around the skates in the future, I will snag a picture.
